Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

I libe close to this site and just wanted to make use of it to get prepared for our summer trip across Europe. I was pleasantly suprised how nice the site was and very clean. Staff were very helpful, nice bit of river if you like fishing. Pub close by as well as a cafe, really worth a visit.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Good bit: The site is well placed for walks or cycling down the River Lea canal with the many country parks. Some nice pubs nearby on the River for meals or drinks. Now the bad: This campsite does not honour the acceptance period shown in the ACSI Campingcard book so I had to pay the high season rate for one night on 30th April for one adult and one child. That is far too expensive for this site in Summer never mind April hence my stay was only one night. They tell me the book is just a guide and I should check before booking.
