Great well kept site, nice clean and tidy with plenty of space between pitches would definitely recommend.

Excellent and friendly staff in a well run campsite close to M1 motorway - ideal for overnight stopover with 10 minute walk to railway station.

Travelling party: Couple
We only used the site as stopover but staff were most accommodating in waiting for our late arrival, site is easily accessible from motorway and is a nice level site with all amenities kept to a high standard.

Travelling party: Couple
Hi stopped over for 2 nights on our return trip for Spain. This is a excellent maintained campsite with plenty of friendly and helpful staff.

Travelling party: Seniors
This is a good flat site with in excess of 20 hardstanding pitches with electric and water points adjacent. The site was clean and tidy at all times and plenty of staff maintain it to a high standard. The remaining pitches are on flat grass areas but again with local facilities. Toilet facilities are clean and the main block by the reception building are the best with heated floors and very good facilities. The pebble /gravel drives / roads could be problematic for those with disabilities but hard paths usually adjoin.
Good walks around the fishing lakes and perimeter of the site boundaries. If you like coarse fishing there are excellent opportunities with 2 large well stocked lakes with substantial fishing platforms. In the camping areas there are 2 smaller fishing venues which are excellent for children and those with disabilities. The site has wifi but only at the lower amenity block by reception. The site is well laid out and a lot of thought has gone into planting hedges / shrubs and once mature, will add to the site's appeal. Within a little walking distance of the site there are buses and trains which can take you to many local towns and of course London. All in all a very nice place to stay, the only slight negative being road noise from commuter traffic on the A1(M) which runs adjacent but that disappears during the day.. .
