What a great site! We ended up extending our stay. Facilities were excellent, and very clean. Shop a short walk away, as is the lake. The free tourist card gives you free local transport and access to many attractions for free too! Would definitely return.

The sanitation block must have been completely refitted since previous reviews as it’s modern, spacious and spotless. Reception staff were really helpful giving lots of local info and recommendations. I was given a good choice of pitches, even though I hadn’t pre-booked and was using the Camping Card. There’s excellent local paths for dog walks and cycling by the lake and canal (a day’s free bike hire is one perks on the very extensive guest card). 10 mins walk brings you to ‘old town’ part of the local village - a medieval delight with antique shops and eateries set around a central square.

Didn’t try the restaurant, but it seemed to have a good menu. There are lovely walks and cycle routes along the lake and canal. Also, the ‘old town’ is a delight with a medieval square lined with antique shops and eateries. The guest card is one of the most comprehensive I’ve come across - it would take a week to use all the museum vouchers and free transport. The toilet block is the best I’ve come across anywhere in Switzerland. Reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Great site, great location, toilets refurbished to a really high specification. We came here for a 2 night stop over but still here on site 4 nights later. The Onde Verte tourist card is a great bonus, it offers free travel on trains and buses plus the Onde Verte booklet has vouchers for free admission to numerous museums, a free boat trip on Lac Neuchatel, chair lift, and funicular. Overall it\'s a great site in a stunning location, can\'t fault it!

It\'s me again! The sanitary services have now been refurbished to a high standard which was a lovely surprise, although you are given a card for your shower. We didn\'t find this a problem as the time allowed seemed quite adequate. The asci rate also includes entry to the nice nearby swimming complex which included a fifty metre pool, flume pool and toddler pool. They are having problems with the free WiFi but said that they could have given me the password for another network had I notified them of the problem before I was leaving.

Fab site just near a lake. Friendly helpful staff. Used free tourist card to take train, cable car and boat ride. Pitches bit small in some cases. Facilities spotless. Great for dog walks with beautiful views.

Stayed for one night on return journey from Italy. The reception staff were very helpful and the free ondeverte card is great as it entitles you to a wide range of free benefits including a boat trip, cable car, travel on buses and trains and museum entry. Unfortunately dogs other than small dogs aren\'t included, but being so close to the station makes it really accessible if you do want to take advantage. The toilet and shower facilities were a bit dated but were clean and warm. There is a sign at reception stating that departure must be by 11am although they were flexible whilst we were there as they weren\'t full. We were charged asci rate and per person tourist tax. There were some great walking and cycling paths next to the site.

ACSI rate per night which includes local taxes. This includes a card for a timed 5 min shower per person per day. Showers hot and spacious. ACSI pitches quite small so bigger units may struggle to fit on a pitch. Electric mostly required a Swiss plug connection some boxes having plugs, so check before pitching that you can hook up. Site close to Lake Biel with views of the Chasseral mountains. Onsite restaurant seemed popular

Felt the site needed tidying up - grass and hedges to be cut. Very poor lighting in the shower room and time for the facilities to be refurbished. Surrounding area was good for cycling and the old town lovely and also in the new part excellent supermarket and creperie. Site close to the lake. Other than that a reasonable site to stay for a few nights.

Friendly campsite in good position for exploring local area. Pitches small, good clean sanitary block, bar/restaurant on site and free swimming pool a short walk away. Easy access into local town and large recreational lake. Free internet and free local tourist travel for bus and train. Recommended.
