We have a permanent cabin here and stay at least four times a year for twelve weeks or more, and have done for many years.
The campsite is a level area with mains electricity available if you need it. The toilet facilities are always kept spotless and there are laundry facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer, available at a small charge in the washing room with sinks for washing both clothes and eating utensils. There\'s a small shop but Lauterbrunnen is within 30-mins walking or 7-mins on the bus which stops a the entrance, where there are shops including a Coop.
The cable-car to Gimmelwald, Murren and The Schilthorn is 20-mins walk in the other direction. The interesting Trummelbach Falls are 300-metres down the road. From Lauterbrunnen one can take a train up to Wengen and further on to Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch.
The typical visitor at Camping Breithorn is after a quiet, peaceful time, and you should be aware that there is no \'entertainment\' on-site or close-by. There is a free WiFi connection available to visitors.
Great views, good cycling to Lauterbrunnen and Tummelbach Falls which is well worth a visit. Family run site and very helpful. Spoke to many brits who have been returning many years - can understand why. Well recommended. Quiet with great views. Amazing to watch free fall parachutists jumping from cliffs beside the site.
Great campsite. The toilets were very clean and tidy. Easy access to all local attractions on foot or by bike. Bus stops at the entrance. Great setting we had a pitch right by the river.
A lovely site which gives easy walking or cycle access to the gondola at Stechelberg and the trains / cable cars etc in Lauterbrunnen. The camp shop is used by locals and there is fresh alpine milk for sale at the farm next door. There are shaded pitches by the river or grass pitches in the centre of the campsite which have excellent views along the valley.
