Travelling party: Couple

Very friendly welcome from the staff. Parked our van and got our air awning up just in time before the rain started and then unfortunately for us we had rain the next three days we were booked on to this site. Bus stop right outside the site which was ideal. Also buses free as got a pass from the site and also discount brochure for places which was unexpected.
The only down side of our stay was the restaurant had closed the day before and there were no local places to eat near the site unless travelled into town.
Below is the ACSI statement for the site so we hadn't planned a meal for arriving:
'Campsite with a friendly atmosphere, bordering a suburb of Interlaken with stunning views of the snowy mountain peaks. There is a small but lovely swimming pool. Good cycling and walking options in the vicinity. Takeaway meals and restaurant open from 19 June to 30 September.' We arrived 21st September.

Be aware that most pitches do not have direct access to water and waste disposal. There a motorhome service point but it is at the very back of the site. Water can be obtained from the toilet block. We found this site to be quite noisy, vans arriving at 1am and leaving at 5.30. Great location - 10-15 minute cycle to the train station - great connections to local area. Lovely walks from the site. Lovely friendly team.

Lovely little campsite. Great views of Eiger and Jungfrau. Shower blocks clean, plenty of hot water and no push button! Free public transport in and around the campsite into Interlaken.
Signage for pitches needs to be better, we saw many people including ourselves wandering round trying to find the numbers when all it needs is little plaques to show the way. Arrival at reception was chaotic and wasted time and caused a little stress to us and a few more campers arriving at same time.

The mark for this site will probably not justify how good this site is. We did book via ACSI well in advance but upgraded because of the pitch we were allocated, no view, behind a lodge and under a big tree. Fair play though we were allowed a choice of pitches and pay the difference. Moved to a pitch with stunning views. Facilities are good and location is great. Easy walk into town!

This is a lovely campsite in superb location. The showers are lovely and hot and constant. Toilets spotless and paper and soap provided. The washing machine is chargeable just like the dyers. The staff are very friendly. The Wi-Fi is one best we’ve had on our travels.
You get given a free travel pass to use during your stay.

Free public transport in Berner Oberland by bus and train. Wiev to Eiger, Mönch, Jungfraujoch and Jungfrau. Close to the city. Silence and chocy.

A superb location with wonderful views, easy access by cycle or free bus into Interlaken. Shower and toilet facilities were good and there is also a laundry room with washers and dryers. Will visit again.
