We planned to stay here for 2 nights to visit the city of València, having read the reviews we managed our expectations accordingly. However, we were pleasantly surprised for the following reasons... the staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, the pitch was hard standing and of very good size (we have 7.3m van) plenty of room to put out awning and walk around the pitch, 10amp electric (no limit of usage), clean facilities, lovely beach 5 minutes walk from site and easy 20 mins/ half hour by bike into the city. All this for a goodprice! So, we stayed 4 nights. There are a few downsides for example no hot water at washing up or bathroom sinks so it’s boiling kettle for washing up, but there are toilet seats and toilet rolls and they are cleaned 3 times a day. We didn’t try the pool so can’t comment on that. There is an enclosed area for the kids to play football etc so they weren’t around the site making noise. Yes there is road noise but it really didn’t bother us. The shop had reasonably priced bread etc. If you want to visit the city of València you can’t go far wrong with this place. Belgium Concord owners don’t stay at poor sites.
we stayed here to visit Valencia and that was the only reason. the site was just ok. the road noise was relentless even overnight! bus stop was right outside into Valencia which was great. the nearby \"beach\" was disgusting covered in rubbish and \"stuff\" you don\'t want to see on a beach - or anywhere. if you plan 1 or 2 nights ok but not a holiday destination and yet Valencia deserves more time
This site is not 6km away from Valencia as described, there is a nudist beach near by and if you walk down the beach towards Valencia there are bars and restaurants. The area was marshland with a lot of stagnant water so I imagine there will be lots of mosquitoes in the summer
Reading some reviews on here it\'s sounds like a lot of people should give up camping and go to a hotel. What do you want for low prices, the showers and toilets are good. No smells, good power hot adjustable showers so they may not be new but they work. Most sites you use your own soap and toilet paper. Anyway I could go on but I won\'t. Get a life. Or go to a hotel.
Very poor campsite, no hot water nor soap on toilets, showers have unpleasant smell of mold, pool needs renovation, looks very poor. Smal pitches for ACSI campers. A lot of mosquitos in the evening, our camper was covered with them. Would not visit again.
Poor camp, very old facilities, pool in bad condition, no hot water and soap on toilet, in shower no possibilty to adjust the temperature of the water. Not worth the money, I think this camp should be checked again by ACSI stuff.
Toilets has really old and bad infrastructure. Reception is open at 9.00, so you can\'t leave the camp before this hour.
This is a good site for visiting Valencia as thee number 25 bus runs regularly past the campsite. We used it twice to visit the centre and the science park. Unfortunately, the return bus, which is scheduled to run hourly did not arrive on one of our visits and was over an hour late and full. We used a taxi to get back for the pair of us, but how much is your time worth? The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilets etc were ok - showers worked. It reminded us of school trips, long tables for group parties with breakfast ordered. Small shop sold the very basics of bread and milk.Beach was close and ok - good view of the cranes at the port.Worst problem is the traffic noise which becomes more troublesome the longer you stay, as do the biting insects.
It’s a ok campsite for a short time but only that.
Convenient for its proximity to Valencia, which is why we chose it. The bus service from here is excellent. We were given a good sized gravel pitch in the motorhome area, which stayed fairly dry in the wet weather we had during our stay. Staff helpful but their presence at Reception and on the gate seems to be erratic. Free wifi in the conservatory by the (closed in November) bar. Sanitary facilities ok but dated. The shower block was heated but only two of the five showers in each room had hot water. There was a fair bit of road noise which abated at night. It didn't worry us so much. Good site for a few days to visit the city.
We stopped over here by chance on the way to Barcelona and found this place to be a little gem.
Elena on reception was brilliant - ensuring we were happy with the pitch and answering all the usual questions with a cheery patience despite our limited Spanish.
Showers were clean and tidy, site was regularly maintained and the shop though small was enough for basic supplies.
El Saler is 10 mins walking down the beach boardwalk for supermarket and a couple of bar/restaurants
Valencia bus is right outside the gates and costs 1.50 - plenty to see and do in there if you don't mind the hustle and bustle of a big city.
Beach was literally 2 mins across the road and 50/50 naturist.
We intended to stay for a day but ended up staying 8 because we liked it so much
I'd recommend this as a relaxing stopover to recharge your batteries !
