Excellent site. Basic pitches for ACSI members but for a little extra the premium pitches are second to none.
This is very nice site, the staff are very friendly and speak good English, the pitches are a good size and all seem to be comfort standard now. We were slightly taken aback when we were told the rate was more per night and not the price as advertised. The restaurant was very good if a little pricey two courses with a bottle of house white. The only negative on this site was the toilet block, the one we used was very dated and badly in need of a major refurbishment
The site is on the beach and a pleasant walk to the town of Oliva (very friendly and helpful in the shops and bars)
Very expensive site even with ACSI. Toilets old and not heated. Staff unfriendly. Restaurant closed and limited choice at bar. Beach lovely, town non descript and castle not worth effort to climb hill. Would not return.
Supper campsite.Very pet friendly. One of the best we have been to. Beautiful beach. The only let down was the food in the KIKO restaurant. Not very interesting and rather expensive .
Firstly, the approach is well signed but through the busy town and then along narrow lanes. It was almost full of huge long stay RVs rather than caravans. Some pitches were good sized but densely packed with large hedges, so no views. We had 2 toilet blocks near our pitch, one with door code, very modern, underfloor heating etc but with only 1 privacy washbasin, the other block was old and not so good. Also our standard UK electric lead wasn’t long enough so did without for our 1 night stay. It is on a fabulous beach and by a marina, but you can’t see these at all. This is clearly a popular well run, clean site, just not to our taste.
Very nice site, well maintained, pitches are of a good size, lots of trees, I would imagine in summer it looked stunning, the shower blocks are clean with plenty of hot water, the restaurant, bar area looked very nice unfortunately never got to use it. Plenty of cycling in the area, would recommend this site.
We have stayed here several times before with an ACSI card and have been able to pay a little extra for a Comfort pitch. Oliva is a lovely low key town. This year, the normal ACSI half of the site has been dug up and will in future consist of pitches with better facilities. No pitches available on the other half. Full of long stayers, none due to leave. So if you come on the off chance at the moment, there is no availability. Fear that this site will no longer offer ACSI discounts in future.
we stayed here for two nghts in may 2015 very tight plots as our van could not get in very easily but they do have larger ones on other sode but more expensive .the beach is beautiful and very close just up some steps and you are there .what worried us was no security people coming off from the beach day and night so felt a little worried .not much shade as we have a dog we need some shade .not much nearby but a lovely bar restauraunt just round corner .its 3 k to the main town but a very lovely route .the toilets need attention but the washing up facilities no not impressed when you have cockroaches running near your feet ,will not return
Stayed 4 nights. Very tight entrance and small pitches behind sand dunes. Shower block tired needs refurbishing for the price overall expensive. Sandy pitches in fact sand every where the van was covered after our stay. Small campsite shop with Oliva not far away, reasonable cycling routes.
Got a shock when I checked out, the price of the metered Electric which I never checked.
Paid wifi 12 euros for 3 nights.
Would not return, too close to the sea & wind. Difficult entrance. No security at night no gate to site.
