We went for 3nights and stayed the week. Lovely site next to a lovely beach. We were next to the bar and it was ok not too noisy. There was a band playing on the Saturday night.
Paid for Wi-Fi which didn’t work so I got a refund
Toilets etc very good
We will return
We’ve been on Azul a couple of times now , on the times we’ve been unable to get a place we have used a couple of close by sites. We have managed to get back on this time and for us there is no comparison from the others. It’s a nice compact site with a relaxed atmosphere, The staff are very helpful
and since our last visit the amenities have been refurbished. I recommend this site to people that mention they are traveling around this area. It’s good for overnight or long stay. Hopefully we’ll be able to get on the next time we are down this way.
A lovely site on the beach. We were located under shade in the annexe - an minute through the site to the beach but potentially quieter as away from the bar / restaurant. Fresh bread daily on site. I found access a little difficult as narrow roads but am new to towing a caravan!
Was given a bottle of their wine as it was my birthday when I was there.
I look forward to a return visit at some point.
We chose this campaite because of proximity to beach and modern washing facilities. Well both boxes definitely ticked here. The beach is really clean about 100m wide and stretches for miles either way backed by dunes. We walked for at least 4 miles to the north towards Gandia and the same to the south towards Denia. The washing/toilet faciliies more than lived up to expectations being bright, clean and modern with lashings of hot water, though temperature control in a couple of cubicles was not always constant. The pitches are tight but nice and private seperated by oleander bushes. The snack bar was very friendly with live entertainment on the Saturday which was OK. Hot snacks served all day, limited choice but what was served was home cooked, good value and very tasty. We ended up staying 9 nights and only moved on due to weather breaking up and promise of more settled weather further south.
Electricity was metered but ACSI includes 4Kw/day. Just about enough we ended up paying for 1Kw over the 9 days. Overall more than happy with site and would return again.
This was the second site we looked at on this coast and was infinitely better than the first. The staff were friendly and the pitches were slightly small for our large tent (although larger pitches were available at a premium)
The pitch was 50m from a beautiful empty beach with views of the mountains and Altea & Oliva at either end of the beach.
There was an adequate shop and a small bar which unfortunately backed onto our pitch. It was fine for the first couple of nights, but on our final night there, the noise went on well past the ten o'clock curfew and only stoppedon the second time of asking at quarter past midnight,
The toilet/shower blocks were clean with loads of hot water and the washing up facilities were very good.
We moved on three days early after the noisy Thursday night as we anticipated the weekend being more so.
There was no free wi fi.
All in all, despite the site's good points, we will not return.
