Nice small quiet site but unfortunately there were dogs barking in the distance off site nearly all night. 2 shower blocks, both very clean and included electric point for hair dryer. Pool very clean and well maintained and was lovely to use at end of the day. Small cafe bar open even though hardly any customers onsite at the time. You can also get bread in the morning. No soap in men\'s toilets for the 3 days we were there. Excellent wifi from our pitch. Staff really friendly and accommodating. Good supermarket about 20 minute walk away. 15 (1.5Km) minute easy cycle into Peniscola on quiet roads and cycle paths. Highly recommended.
Very nice welcome at this small but very clean and well equipped site. Very nice clean toilets and showers and more improvements are being done as I type. Very nice pool and well priced restaurant. Free WiFi and good connection. Very good 10 amps electricity. We felt very comfortable and at home for the few days wer were here. It is a few kilometers from the beach so bring your bikes or other mode of transport. It is October so we are not that worried about the sea being 1.5 k from the site. The site is a bit tight but there are some very large campers here so if you can maneuver well then this is the place for you. Lovely few days here and will certainly come back when passing again. Big thank you.
Smallish pitch but a popular site; heated toilet block and a good meal can be had at the restaurant; an easy cycle to the beach.
We arrived at the site without warning and were warmly welcomed by a man on reception who walked in front of our van as he showed us to our pitch. He also spoke some English. We were struck by how busy the site was with nearly every pitch occupied. The pitches were a little compact but adequate to house our 7.4 metre motorhome, smart car and trailer with a little sunbathing room left over. The toilets were basic but adequate. There was a restaurant on site which should have been open but was closed due to illness but it looked reasonably priced and nice inside. The reception offers freshly baked baguettes and croissants if ordered the day before and to this end a German lady who was one of the other campers knocked on every pitch every evening to take the order. The site is a short drive to Peniscola which is a lovely seaside town with a variety of cafes shops and restaurants. There were a number of campers staying at this site over the winter but I felt that it was more suitable for a stopover for a few days.
The staff are superbly helpful and friendly, most languages spoken. Most of the pitches are on the small side, we were wondering where they\'d hidden the crane.
This site is remarkable value for money frankly. There is water at the pitch and electric close at hand. The facilities, while not stunning are kept clean and the staff were pleasant. We didn\'t try the restaurant but it looked fine. Peniscola is probably a good 20 minute walk away but the old town is lovely and you pass a decent Mercadona supermarket. Even in March the site was almost full and the pitches are very compact indeed however if you are happy with that it is great value for money.
Stayed for 10 nights recently. Great site, excellent staff especially Maria in the restaurant. Great value for money. Pitch had its own water and drainage. Good for stop over or longer stay. We intended it as a stopover but stayed longer. Peniscola is a great town with lots to see. Will bring bikes next time. It\\\'s mostly flat and you can get around easily.
Town/beach is about 2 miles away. Parking in the town is about 1 euro per hour.
Will definitely return.
Stopped here for nine weeks good little site none to big great friendly staff etc. nice area to walk Peniscola only 1.5 km away 2o minute walk, beautiful little town, people very friendly even found a branch of my own bank .
