This campsite is perfect for location as you are close to so many scenic places of interest (caves, waterfalls, natural lakes). The reception desk almost doubles up as a tourist information and the staff are so helpful to ensure you enjoy your stay. The pitches are tiered and terraced which run up a steep bank, offering excellent views but tired legs! The pitches are spacious but set on very hard ground and if in a tent you will need to ask reception for their steel nails to use as pegs. There was a lot of cats on site which would kindly leave their mess underneath the gravel covering on the pitches. This was only a mild annoyance given the postives of this campsite. The area has some of the most beautiful sights to see but make sure you have a car to visit many of them.
Used it as a stop over on our way South, this is the second time we have used this site and will definitely use it again.
Plan to use it on the way back in May and hopefully spend a few days as there is a lot to see and do in the area.
Lovely site, easy access from motorway. There are a few pitches with high kerbs - but only on very top level - rest are easy to access. The via verde cycle/walking route runs outside the site - fabulous cycling. Fabulous site - we would return.
A good site for a couple of night if you have Been travelling down or up to Bilbao etc. The toilets and shower are good .the staff are friendly easy to talk to. Restaurant / bar are okay pitch are big enough for or 7 m motorhome get into and out off the site is not a problem
An excellent campsite if you like walking/hiking as the old railway line is only 100 mtrs. away and the lovely town of Navajas with its spectacular waterfall and beautiful houses is within a twenty minute walk away. My wife and myself were there over the weekend and there were very few plots available by early Friday evening and it was quite noisy, so next time we would go during the week. Toilets clean, but foul smell from drains in gents showers. Pitches were shaded by mulberry trees who's sticky fruit had fallen and would stick to your shoes along with the gravel, so had to sweep the entire plot. Wifi available. Would like to return when it is a little cooler and quieter during Spring or Autumn. Friendly, welcoming staff that speak English.
This is a great campsite. It has lots of good walking / cycling opportunities around the area, and its just a short walk into Navajas. Navajas is a proper old town with some unique houses. It is also a train journey into Valencia with takes about an hour. The campsite was mostly English and was quiet when we stayed. The site is terraced but the pitches are a decent size, its a bit of a hill climb to the top - good exercise. The toilets were spotless however the water a little tepid. Reception staff were excellent and had all the information you needed on the area. Would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay at this site, lovely setting, close to cycle and walking routes. Greenway route is accessed direct from site. Staff very good and at providing information on local area and also Fallas festival in Valencia. Good sized pitches. Tiered so you can enjoy the views quite steep up hill. WiFi good and free. Enjoyed a walk along river to Segorbe. Railway station close by site too. We took the train back to site one stop (few and far between though). Restaurant ok, ate there on a Saturday. Things not so good were toilet facilities although clean and tidy, were basic and only 2 showers, toilets and sinks for upper tiers. 3 in lower tier. Outside washing up open to elements which were cold and windy when were there. Washing machine needs some maintenance, left what I thinks is old washing powder marks on washing I did which was not helpful. Would recommend and stay at this site again.
Can't fault the campsite but the meal we had in the restaurant was appalling! The soup was supposed to be a local speciality with ham and croutons, we got chicken noodle and it was very salty. The main course of chicken breast was hard and dry the accompanying "seasonable vegetables" mounted to one small burnt piece of something that might have been a vegetable, we couldn't tell, and the ice cream for desert was a 2inch square of tasteless stuff on a plate with nothing to decorate it or make it look appetising.
We would stay again but forget the restaurant.
Stopped off at the site on our way home. Turns out to be a lovely out of season find. I love exploring town and villages and even more so by cycle. This place is surrounded by interesting places to ride to and had a dismantled railway track alongside, much of which is tarmac. You can ride for miles in both directions. The site has good sized pitches and most are serviced with water, waste and electric. Toilet and showers are good too. Loved this place so much that we’ll be back later this year for a longer stay. G&T
Best campsite we've stayed in during our 2 months in Spain. Staff in reception were extremely helpful and encouraging of our (limited) Spanish language skills. Toilets and showers very clean, loads of hot water. Plenty of walking & cycling in the area. Local shopkeepers very welcoming and friendly.
