Stayed for one night in January on our way south and stayed two nights on our way back north because we found it such a pretty and friendly sight (dog friendly as well) Will be going back when we make our next trip to Spain
We just love this site! Very friendly staff and always helpful. We have stayed here several times and overwintered on the site. Very clean showers and toilets. Lovely area for exploring especially if you like walking and wildlife. The old railway is great for walking. Great views from upper levels. Highly recommend.
Stopped off at the site on our way home. Turns out to be a lovely out of season find. I love exploring town and villages and even more so by cycle. This place is surrounded by interesting places to ride to and had a dismantled railway track alongside, much of which is tarmac. You can ride for miles in both directions. The site has good sized pitches and most are serviced with water, waste and electric. Toilet and showers are good too. Loved this place so much that we’ll be back later this year for a longer stay. G&T
Favourite campsite from 2018 holiday. Generally quiet and peaceful, particularly at the top of the site. Good cycling nearby and local market worth a visit on Wednesdays. Food was excellent in on-site restaurant and used by many locals. Pool was also very good. Shop OK but not extensive. Will go back.
Very steep terraced site but we got an 8+ metre long caravan and land river up ok. High pervs had been mentioned in previous reviews which was a concern but the road we were on, one down from the top, had been resurfaced with new tarmac to the top of the kerb so easy access. grit pitches. small trees and frames for shade but no shade material on our road but it\'s early season so they may fitted later. All pitches have water on them and while we were there they were building brick stands with stainless steel sinks fitted in them behind each pitch. Very busy at the weekend with the usual local weekenders but very quiet where we were. Nice looking pool but didn\'t use it. Busy restaurant even lunch time in the week with locals and menu del dia. Nice evening menu too. Toilets and showers are very tired at the top level of pitches but better lower down. Surrounding area plenty to see and do with miles of tracks and a lovely picturesque waterfall in town and a huge castle in Segundo. Valencia not that far. Would return but this time only here for 4 nights passing through.
Enjoyed our stay at this site, lovely setting, close to cycle and walking routes. Greenway route is accessed direct from site. Staff very good and at providing information on local area and also Fallas festival in Valencia. Good sized pitches. Tiered so you can enjoy the views quite steep up hill. WiFi good and free. Enjoyed a walk along river to Segorbe. Railway station close by site too. We took the train back to site one stop (few and far between though). Restaurant ok, ate there on a Saturday. Things not so good were toilet facilities although clean and tidy, were basic and only 2 showers, toilets and sinks for upper tiers. 3 in lower tier. Outside washing up open to elements which were cold and windy when were there. Washing machine needs some maintenance, left what I thinks is old washing powder marks on washing I did which was not helpful. Would recommend and stay at this site again.
Used it as a stop over on our way South, this is the second time we have used this site and will definitely use it again.
Plan to use it on the way back in May and hopefully spend a few days as there is a lot to see and do in the area.
Lovely site, easy access from motorway. There are a few pitches with high kerbs - but only on very top level - rest are easy to access. The via verde cycle/walking route runs outside the site - fabulous cycling. Fabulous site - we would return.
Good campsite thoughtfully designed so that permanent tents and chalets are below visiting campers. Facilities generally okay, except for block on the top level which is somewhat dank. Washbasin on the pitch very useful and pitches well tended. Ground very hard for anyone trying to put in pegs but awnings not really necessary with shade over all pitches.
Via Verde good to cycle. Village well worth a visit with river walk to the waterfalls and many fountains along the way.
Generous portions at the restaurant with good food.
Very friendly staff. Helpful for info re the area e.g. Train times. Restaurant was ok for what we paid. Cycle route a real bonus. Some pitches with really high kerbs and narrow roads makes access a challenge. The open drain running behind pitch was not good, Short walk to the village and ideal for train trips to Valencia
