Stayed on this site in May for two weeks what aa joke especially for disabled guests you needed a pack horse if you had to walk to the toilet / shower. So much dust dirt and flies. We had to use the car to go to the toilet / shower as there is no way you my wife could use her mobility scooter to get round as they were so bumpy and uneven even with our 4x4 Tiguan. The shower door had a inch gap in it we had to pack this with a bin liner. Workers left screws laying about on the floor and my wife slipped and caused a large swelling on her hand and wrist which made it very awkward as she is a lower limb amputee who can’t have a prosthetic limb. We only stayed as we had to visit the hospital for treatment this is the worst site we have ever stayed on including the Uk France Portugal and quiet a few other areas in Europe.
We stayed at this campsite in 2017 initially booking in for a week and ended up staying a month. The then owners (French) were very hands on and accommodating . On arriving this year we were saddened to find that it had been taken over, not the same eye to detail. The price of drinks increased three times during our three week stay. We also found that there were plans afoot to increase the campsite by incorporating the olive grove.Sadly this will not be the same.
What an absolutely stunning place to stay, we stayed for 4 wonderful nights in the beautiful surroundings of this site.
Everything is spotlessly clean, the infinity pool is stunning if a bit on the cool side , with views to the mediterranean coast.
We ate at the bar and the food was lovely so was the sangria and well priced too.
The French owners were lovely very friendly and helpful.
The site was fairly quiet when we visited but that just added to our stay.
Having visited this camp site in previous years was very sad to see the extent of building work going on whilst staying close by a week ago. We feel sure many people will be disappointed with the amount of mobile homes under construction and loss of planting.
A lovely, peaceful country site, which makes a refreshing change to crowded seaside camp sites. The pitches are of generous size, not too shady, good free Wi-Fi with no need to keep logging on. Limited menu, but the Angus beef Hamburgers are superb. Good and reasonably priced Charter supermarket in Calig. But, bring citronella candles as those flies can be pesky (like many other sites in Spain). Recommended.
Wonderful campsite. Would agree with all the positive comments about this site and would highly recommend. Would definitely come again. Only slight issue is the flies but not as bad as I had expected from previous reviews.
Nice camping pitch, friendly staff, good bakery, perfect swimming pool with jacuzzi, very clean, only without paper and soap on toilettts ( I really do not understand this). Would recommend it.
Nice pitches- good size, lovely swimming pool and friendly, efficient reception. Village not as picturesque as some but welcoming and friendly and has a great bakery.
Lovely site . Like a botanical garden. Great toilets/ showers. Beautiful pool area with bar. Owners were very helpful& attentive. We weren’t bothered by flies, but it was the end of October. Only 15 mins to coast. A must if you don’t like big bustling sites.
We stayed here as a stop over on the way from Valencia to Barcelona. A lovely campsite with lots of flowers and trees. It has a good swimming pool with little slide. The toilets were clean and ok. The staff were also very nice.
