Campsite Bonterra Park is a campsite with 310 touring pitches. During low season, between 01-03-2019 - 16-04-2019, 05-05-2019 - 14-06-2019 and 10-09-2019 - 31-12-2019, the nightly rate is €20,- at one of the 310 touring pitches at Campsite Bonterra Park in Benicassim (Castellón).
Beautiful and large campsite at 300 metres from a lovely sandy beach in a charming town. Good toilet facilities. Swimming pools, one is covered and heated. Pitches with sun and shade, marked out by hedges. Hiking and cycling opportunities, e.g. over former railway line, a Via Verde, to Castellon and Oropesa. The 'Desert de les Palmes' is also recommended.

Used the swimming pool and was ill afterwards. Staff in office very good. Nice large pitch, trees and bushes well pruned
Site very clean.
Overall just about the best site we have stayed at and we have stayed at a lot. Easy walk to nice Spanish town and lovely sandy beach, large supermarket over the road. The best of internet access and great pool winter and summer. Restaurant is good enough and staff are great. The shower/toilet facilities are clean and great. My only note of caution is that some of the pitches are a little small if you are in a van without motor mover. Very nice place to overwinter.
We stayed for 1 month (Nov), great site, the town of Benicasim is a gem, wonderful promenade and beach. Cycling heaven. Able to rent satellite connection for full UK TV. Quiz night, full fitness programme, happy hour, and much more overwinter period. Looking forward to return in January.
Lovely clean sight with easy access the pitches are a good size and you can walk around and pick your own. The beech is a five minute walk from the site. Benicassim festival was on from the 20 th September for a week , loud music till 04.00am fireworks at 8.00am if you want to sleep don't go then.
We have stayed on this excellent site many times before and enjoy our time here. However, this was the first that anyone on the reception desk was other than very friendly, also the first time our pitch was dirty with rubbish, I'm used to cigarette ends wherever we go in Spain. Nevertheless, this a very well run campsite which we return to again and again. You have to pay for Wifi.
Good camp site good facilities and great pitches the only downside that you have to pay extra for internet a day and it is off more than its on and it will not run a Ipad
Brilliant campsite, stayed 2 weeks but didn't want to leave! Great reception staff. Was given a map of available pitches on arrival. Pitches were level, gravel and very spacious and all had shade. Toilets and showers are dated but very clean. Lovely swimming pools. Wifi is chargeable but quite reasonable, the signal was great. There is a Mercadona supermarket opposite the campsite which is very reasonable and a Lidl a short walk up the road. Benicassim town is a 10 minute walk from the camp and is a lovely quiet town with bars, cafes and shops. The beach is also 10 minutes walk and is really nice. Doesn't get too busy. The promenade goes all along the beach and is great for a stroll. There is a cycle path which runs at the back of the campsite but is also great for walking. Cycle path goes to Oropesa and Marina d'or one way both worth a visit, especially Marina d'or in the evening when the lights are on and there is a parade 5 evenings a week at 10pm. The other way on the cycle path takes you to Castellon or Castellon el grau. Castellon town is lovely and worth a visit. Valencia is about an hours drive away, they do a coach trip from the campsite. Loved it here will definitely be returning.
We stayed here for 4 nights and thought it was an excellent campsite. We could choose our own pitch, which was spacious in a little cul-de-sac with other units of varying Nationalities. Well situated with a Mercadona opposite, town centre a couple of minutes walk to the right and beach a couple of minutes walk to the left. Benicassim is a lovely Spanish town with Victorian villas lining the promenade and enough bars and restaurants open off season to meet demand. The promenade stretched all the way to the port city of Castellon and was an excellent cycle ride. The camp site ran a trip to Valencia which was an added bonus. Wouldn't want to be here when the CC rally is on in April and May though.
great site, serviced pitches, table tennis, cycling and walking nearby.
great long term winter site.
Benicassim a real Spanish town with many festivals, etc.
This is our second visit to Bonterra Park and the facilities and service are second to none. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. The restaurant serves good meals at fantastic prices. The added bonus is that this park is open in the winter months which is very useful for the people going south for the winter.
