Travelling party: Couple

A very nice site with good amenities and friendly staff, really clean and pretty situated on the southern edge of the nature park, it is quiet and relaxing, fabulous walking/ trekking along the coast path. Beaches are pebbly but that just adds to the charm, it is a rugged coastline. The local town Alcossebre is also quaint and not overdeveloped, it has a decent sandy beach and nice bars in the town. Careful with the access road to the site, it is bumpy and rutted but persevere it is worth it.

What a gem of a site , we are currently on the site
Very friendly staff
Very clean showers / toilets which are cleaned several times a day , pool is large with plenty of sun beds and the restaurant/ bar overlooks the pool

The pitches are about 80/100 mts sq and are level with hedges to 3 sides with palm trees and larger trees for shade each pitch has water and waste connection

There are Bungalows on the site but very nicely layed out not scattered all over the place

A secure gate at the bottom of the site leads to a short walk throu woods to the sea , there are many coves from rock to sand ,you can take your dog on the pebble beach
There is a dog shower on site to save taking sand into your caravan

The only down side is the 1 mile rough track from the town to the site this is because it is in a Nature reserve but well worth the bumpy ride

A shuttle bus runs from the site on selected days to the supermarket leaving at 10 am and returning at 12 pm
This site is one of the nicest we have stayed on in France or Spain and will most certainly return

Enjoyed this site in fabulous location, access is along unmade road which isn’t great but worth the effort. The site itself had excellent and clean facilities, pitches were a very good size and not crammed. Minutes from campsite by the sea there are lots of paths through pine trees, shrubs and pretty wild spring flowers. Plenty of little coves to find and enjoy. Lovely walking to Alcossebre with good selection of restaurants and lovely promenade area. Beaches were very good at Alcossebre, although too cool for us on our visit. Will definitely return.

Travelling party: Seniors

We absolutely loved this campsite, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is ideal if you have a dog because there are so many places for walks and swimming. Highly recommend this site despite the badly surfaced entrance. As stated in the ACSI book it is worthwhile traversing.

Beautifully kept site. Facilities block first class. Pitches are fair size but quite close together but not a problem. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool area. Not many children on site but we visited out of season. There is even a shower facility for your dog! Walk through woods to nearby stony beach but lovely views. Only down side is the 2.5km of rough very dusty road to get to the site. No good for cycles. The site however is worth it.

Lovely site, large gravel pitches with water and drainage on. Pool beautiful, staff friendly and very helpful. Good walks from site, dog able to go on beaches close by, cycling tracks rough so suit mountain bikes. Would have scored shower block higher but it could be cleaner. Only downside which cannot believe hasn't been mentioned before is the dreadful smell from the on site sewage treatment plant. Really do suggest a pitch near the top of the site to stay away from the awful smell!!

Excellent site. Very helpful staff, excellent washing / toilet/ shower facilities. Booked in for two nights and stayed nine. Great pool and everything well maintained. Restaurant ok. Short wall to beautiful rough coastline with some secluded beaches and great walks in the parkland. Nowhere else we have stayed in the ACSI book compares with this.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

This site has everything you need.
Nice good sized flat pitches with all water, electrics and waste pipes.
Owners and staff are unbelievably welcoming and friendly throughout entire stay.
Showers / toilets are excellent AND are now being renovated to an even higher standard!
Beautiful walks to go on along the rocky coastline. Sandy beaches can be found if you walk a while or drive into Alcossebre.
Alcossebre is great little town with a nice feel.
Well worth a longer stay

Just got back from our first 2016 trip. Spent 10 nights here. ( because of weather originally planned to stay 5) Perfect place to relax, very very quiet in the week. Noisy at the weekend because of all the families. (Which we thought was great and reminded us when we had little children) On several occasions we had pool and beach to our selves. Great area to walk dogs. There seemed to be a lot of mosquitoes this year not sure why. We will visit this site again this year and next. Staff are absolutely FANTASTIC
