Excellent flat pitches but make sure you are on one of the big pitches otherwise the smaller ones are limited for sitting out if you have an awning out. Good toilet facilities which are warm in the winter months. Good shade provided for the summer months so a good all year round site. We have visited several times at all times of year, February, May, June, November etc and have always found the site adaptable for all seasons. Walking distance to Javea port, Arenal beach and the old town. Very well situated.
We stayed 2 nights in our motorhome. Friendly, helpful reception. We were able to pick our own pitch. All pitches are same price with ACSI card. This is a large site surrounded by orange groves, but also busy roads and industrial units which made leaving the site less than pleasant. We walked to the old town, harbour and along the seafront. Ran along the seafront via El Arenal. We had a good value meal in the on-site restaurant
The reception staff were the most unfriendly, standoffish crew we have ever experienced. Keep well clear of this overrated place.
Everything that has been said before... BUT the smaller pitches are so small they are barely fit for purpose for even a modestly-sized m’home. Such a shame.
Lovely campsite with very clean and modern shower block and washing facilities. Swimming pool is extremely inviting and there is a lifeguard on duty during opening hours.Pitches are spacious and pebbled. Good cycling opportunities with a number of cycle paths The old town of Javea is well worth a visit, as it has some lovely historical buildings and a number of cafe/restaurant squares. The port of Javea is also worth a visit with a number of restaurants, marina and a pebbly beach. Adjoining the port is Arenal beach, which is a very clean beach with a clear blue safe sea. This is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Something for everyone.
Lovely site, level hard standing pitches. Showers and loo's very clean and tidy abundance of hot water, dish washing area clean.. Bike lane into town centre. Shops near by. Play area for children. Swimming pool is a good size, (pool has a lifeguard). Sun loungers in pool area. Restaurant wasn't open during our stay. Nor was there any entertainment so I can't comment on those.
We will return here in the further.
This is a lovely campsite with beautifully kept toilets a lovely pool and cheap washing facilities - however it is totally spoilt by the gangs of British who camp here for long periods over the cooler months, they are noisy and in and out of each other's caravans/mobile homes, if you are ok with that, fine, but it certainly wasn't for us we couldn't even read for the constant noise. They park their cars, arrogantly, in pitches, making them unavailable for other campers to use. The management seem to be aware of this but do nothing about it. All on all a real shame cause the site is lovely but only come here if you don't mind living in Coronation Street!
Spotlessly clean toilets and a well maintained site. Friendly and helpful reception. Decent sized pitches with shade for summer. 1.5km from sea front, 5 minutes walk to La Mezquierda restaurant. Not much of interest in the immediate vicinity. Dogs a bit noisy at night and a strange hum, but generally a quiet site with a pleasant mix of mostly Dutch and British guests. Thought the bar lacked a little atmosphere out of season (bright lights!), its probably fine when you can sit outside.
We stopped here twice for 10 days each time, 2nd time was after heavy rains which caused flooding in other sites but not here although we had some torrential downpours there was no flooding here. Staff were very helpful and friendly as were other campers of all nationalities, great market on a Thursday uphill in the old town, take your shopping bags, no need for bikes, nice tapas bars restaurants and kicked mal so an Iceland close by, for a nice sandy beach and more touristy flavour a longer walk or cycle ride turn right along the beach road. Very popular site and fills up so perhaps phone ahead ,we headed for lidle on our 2nd time here to avoid the narrow rougher road in, then down Liverpool st .
This should be a lovely site, but two days after we arrived they closed the bar and restaurant to replace the roof, it opened 3 days before we left roof not finished and they started work again without closing the bar etc. So why couldn’t they do this in the first place. What’s the point of have an excellent swimming pool if it is only open between 12 pm and 6 pm ( we were rarely onsite during these hours) we also had many lost nights sleep due to dogs barking in grounds of house behind site and the dogs in the nearby shelter. The only plus points to this campsite is the excellent and immaculate toilet facilities.
