Very nice people. Clean toilets. Very close to see. Beautiful beach and promenade. I recommended this camping in 100%.
They couldn’t fit us onto the main campsite so put us into a temporary area near the BBQ area so no real pitch but charged us the same money, we could virtually touch the motorhome next to us. The electricity was so bad we couldn’t even run our fridge from it, had to use our gas. The toilets/showers were clean, hot etc but quite old. Good tram system straight into Alicante or Benidorm, worth staying at the site just for the easy access into these places. WiFi has to be paid for as an extra.
Planned to stay here a few days as reviews hadn\'t mentioned tight spaces. We have a 7.4 metre motorhome. Offered only 3 spaces and all in an area with lots of permanent pitched overspilling the access roads. Unable to get on any pitches then struggled to drive out the camp roads were so narrow. Gave up and went elsewhere.
Very well maintained site with a nice atmosphere. The toilets are immaculate, with lots of.hot water, also true of washing up areas.
The staff are friendly and helpful. There is free wifi around the bar and option of faster and reliable paid wifi on pitch.
The tram to Alicante was easy and cheap. A very worthwhile visit. (Preparations for Volvo round the world yacht race).
Beaches clean, wide and spacious. Great walks on the long prom and good cycling. Accessible supermarkets. Small Sunday market close to the site.
Enjoyed our stay here.
We visited this campsite but didn't stay in the end, it was in the middle of nowhere, when you walk to the beach there is nothing there except beach which is great if that is all you are looking for, the site is vey tired and the toilets were being updated, our pitch was covered in weeds and at the end of the site.
Quiet small site. Close to sea front and tram to Alicante or Benidorm. Alicante worth a visit. Toilets clean and pitches bigger than many spanish sites but still small did have ramps onto pitches which helped. Only stayed 3 nights as on way to ferry but would come again as good base to explore area which is lovely and flat for walking or cycling
We spent a week at this site and had a great time. It is a bit off-putting when you arrive, and we had problems getting the caravan on our allotted pitch (we had to unhitch it and use the motor mover, plus the help of three people)! However, some of the pitches are much more accessible and it is a friendly site with very clean toilets and showers. There is a fantastic 5-mile long promenade along the beach just a few minutes walk away, with regular tram links to Alicante and Benidorm. We would definitely come again.
After reading a review in 2014 we decided not to stay here, then friends came in 2015 and liked it so we gave it a try... I am so glad we did! It is a fairly small site and the entrance is a little off putting but once through the gate the site reveals itself to be very welcoming and clean. When we came it was clear that many caravans were closed up for the winter season so those pitches were perhaps a bit shabby. However the showers and toilets were spotlessly clean with plenty of very hot water. We only stayed for 2 nights on the way south but we shall certainly come here again, hopefully in a few weeks time on our way back to the North of Spain. A good supermarket within walking distance is a bonus, as is the regular coastal tram which was an easy, and cheap way of visiting local towns.
First impressions not very good. We'd had a long day when we arrived and so decided to stop just two nights. However we came to like the site and stopped 14 nights! Showers, like other sites, were dated but very clean with plenty of hot water. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Yes, pitches are tight like many other sites in Spain but we did get plenty of sun on the pitch unlike other sites we stopped at when we were completely in the shade. Would stay there again if in the area.
The camping pitches were hideous with scaffolding poles making access very difficult. The ragged netting which was meant to create shade was unsightly. The long term tourers were like a gypsy encampment with large water bottles adorning the walltops. The space between caravans was a dangerous fire hazard. We asked about the fire regulations but nothing was done about it.We would never go there again.
