Small site right in the middle of the town, beach front within 5 min walk and buses to Valencia/Alicante within 10min walk. All pitches hard standing with shade covers if required, toilets and showers excellent. All staff very helpful and friendly, site pool very good with plenty of sun beds and canopies if required. Bar/ small restaurant by the pool very good prices and good service. Newly opened Supermarket over the road from the site. One of the best sites we’ve found in Spain for location to the beach and town centre
A very well located site a short walk to beaches and town of Calpe. Has a small bar on site and bread is sold in reception.
5 minutes walk from the Saturday morning market.
Standard pitches are small , we have sub 7 metre motorhome. Toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water.
Nice, small, compact but very, very popular campsite in a superb location close to Calpe\'s lovely lively beaches and town centre, next to supermarkets and cycle routes. Superb swimming pool. Staff very friendly and spoke excellent English. The downside would be the size of the plot, we paid an extra for a larger plot and struggled to get any pegs in the ground, (thankfully a neighbour gave us a lump hammer and chisel to enable us to put our awning up). However the main complaint is the shower block which is compact and always like a sauna, most definitely requires some ventilation.
Very friendly welcome to this site. Small pitches and many long stay British campers. Wifi expensive ...pay per hour. Swimming pool v clean although a bit stark with limited beds and umbrellas. Showers etc clean but very small space. Close to town shops and cycle route around the bay
Stayed here for 2 weeks March 2017. It is a town campsite and pitches can be on the small side. ACSI card pitches available, although you can pay €2 or €4 extra for larger pitches. Very popular site. It was full every night we were there, I wouldn't recommend just turning up! Staff very helpful. Good shower/toilet block, kept vety clean. Only 5 minutes walk to a lovely traffic free sea front with many coffee bars and small shops open. New high rise blocks seem to be built every year between the site and sea front but can be interesting to watch! 10 min walk to Lidl, perhaps 20 mins to Aldi, Consum and Mercadona or an easy bike ride away. Large market every Saturday on the road behind the campsite and small market Saturday and Thursday near the front of the site. Dogs not allowed on the beach at any time of year in Calpe but there are plenty of rough grass areas near to the site.
Fantastic site with excellent facilities, staff very friendly with very good English which is as well as there are lots of Britts stay here. This site is ideally situated for the beach, walking in the area, visiting the old town, climbing he rock, it has the lot, well worth a visit. This site gets very busy might be worth contacting site before you turn up in high season or weekends, there are a number of other touring sites currently under construction in the immediate area.
We only intended to stay one night but ended four nights, lovely campsite friendly staff,
It's worth visiting the old town , my husband climbed the rock fantastic views.
Food excellent from the campsite and great sangria,
Wash room facilities first class.
We will be back.
Stayed on this campsite for four days , we intended to stay only two, would recommend this site highly only let down was the construction of two high rise buildings although quite entertaining .
The old village is a definite place to visit, Alan climbed too the top of the Rock and views fantastic, we swam in the sea,.
The campsite restaurant was great, lovely paella and pizzas .
Will definitely return.
Great campsite for Calpe, near both town and beaches. Excellent facilities including an iron and board set up in laundry. Would return, lots of friendly people on site when we were there.
My only gripe is the fact that they charge extra according to size of pitch required.
Be careful with the sat nav as ours took us through a car wash!! Don't get off the Main Street until you see Mc Donald's then turn into that road. The campsite is on the road parallel to the main beach road.
We arrived on April 24stayed just five days but would have stayed a lot longer but we were on a rota we met lots of people and they all love this site and we can see why near beach near plenty walks cycling loads restaurants lovely food weather was fab really lovely site the toilets and showers are in together lovely pool bar area and good selection of food if needed the staff were excellent so helpful and cheerful we will return again as it was a great campsite
