Significant number of statics and long stayers spread around the camp taking up mist of the best pitches. Central area of pitches closed off for on going renovations to roadways, so choice of pitches quite limited and varying in size - some quite small even for an Eriba caravan. Toilet facilities have had a facelift, but only really surface improvements, not a full upgrade. Agree with other reviewer that it is one of the less friendly sites we\\\'ve stayed on as many of the pitches used by touring visitors were separated from each other by statics or grumpy residents.
Perfect for walking to the town and the beach. Lovely friendly staff. Bus to Benidorm if you want a day out. Pet friendly with a dog bath to cool them down when it is hot.
too many rules and regulations, quiet tim 2359hrs to 0800hrs, grumpy campers mostly from holland and U.K. no dog walking on the campsite, the dog has to be taken off site for its business
Real shame this camp site is not the best.
Would never stay here again.
You’re packed in like sardines! Far to close for our liking!
Showers etc need updating, clean but very tired. Drains smell dreadful.
Altea is beautiful, lovely views across the bay (not from site) fantastic restaurants and great for shopping. Only stayed one night
Well having previously said I doubt I would return, well today we did, We intended to stay for three nights as I had said previously said area is nice. However having checked in, and then driving round to find an empty pitch we decided enough was enough, the site as rammed, only small hemmed in pitches available, the site having driven all round it is in need of some TLC, we drove back to reception to collect our ACSI card and moved on. Absolutely terrible site.
Well located site one toilet block but kept very clean.good free wi-fi plenty shade with canopies in trees plenty bars and resteraunts last visit 30years ago no big changes direct access across road to pebble beach so not too crowded good cycling paths
A rather large site situated on the sea front, excellent.
Only one toilet block for whole site, only one toilet wast facility for the site, wifi not at all good drops in and out and very slow, there is a bar at the entrance to the site which stays open until 0400, it has loud music blasting out until then.
It's not all bad, pitch size is ample,
Unfortunately I doubt we shall return which is a real shame as the resort is beautiful.
lovely place tree could do with a cut a lot of campers catching the top of van on over hanging trees
Stayed here for 17 days in June 16
Lovely beach front location
Pebble beach but dont let this put you off..
Lovely bar at entrance to site owned desperately i think
toilet and showers are always clean if a bit cramped
lots of shade if thats what you want....
The location to the beach and the local restaurants are superb and there are no noisy night clubs like the Benidorm which is about 7-9 km away if you want to get there there is a bus or reasonably priced registered taxi.
All in all we would go back if passing..
Thank you for a lovely stay...
Can accommodate large motorhome / RV, we are 8.5 and no problem and there was bigger ones in than us. Toilet block dated but clean, showers small but you get used to it. Pitches are large. The restaurants and bars are value for money. Cycle friendly. Was only going to stay 3 nights but stayed 12 nights. Lovely area and bus service good.
