Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

This site has everything you need.
Nice good sized flat pitches with all water, electrics and waste pipes.
Owners and staff are unbelievably welcoming and friendly throughout entire stay.
Showers / toilets are excellent AND are now being renovated to an even higher standard!
Beautiful walks to go on along the rocky coastline. Sandy beaches can be found if you walk a while or drive into Alcossebre.
Alcossebre is great little town with a nice feel.
Well worth a longer stay

A very nice site with good amenities and friendly staff, really clean and pretty situated on the southern edge of the nature park, it is quiet and relaxing, fabulous walking/ trekking along the coast path. Beaches are pebbly but that just adds to the charm, it is a rugged coastline. The local town Alcossebre is also quaint and not overdeveloped, it has a decent sandy beach and nice bars in the town. Careful with the access road to the site, it is bumpy and rutted but persevere it is worth it.

What you have read abouth the entrance road is all true and more. The reception staff are very friendly and extremely helpful in all aspects. The ground staff pay eceptional care with the cleanliness of all the sites facilities. The bar/restuarant service is also exceptional and the menu varied and inexpensive. All in all a taste of pradise.

This is an absolutely lovely site. The facilities are very clean and modern. The pool is delightful and the bar/restaurant overlooking the pool serves fabulous food and wine at very reasonable prices. There is access to a rocky beach from the site but not really suitable for children. Sandy beaches are just down the coast at Alcossbre. Pitches are all gravel of a reasonable size. Many pitches have water connection as well as electric hook up. The only slight downside is the 1.5kms very rough track to the site!

Just got back from our first 2016 trip. Spent 10 nights here. ( because of weather originally planned to stay 5) Perfect place to relax, very very quiet in the week. Noisy at the weekend because of all the families. (Which we thought was great and reminded us when we had little children) On several occasions we had pool and beach to our selves. Great area to walk dogs. There seemed to be a lot of mosquitoes this year not sure why. We will visit this site again this year and next. Staff are absolutely FANTASTIC

Site is lovely, very well kept. All pitches are hardstanding and well kept although finer stones may be a little more forgiving. The 1.5k poorly kept drive is ok but really should be better. Fresh bread and croissants delivered daily, local produce sold on Fridays by visiting market. Restaurant was closed while we were staying in May. Our stay was curtailed by a large family arriving with several children running riot until half past midnight. Nothing against children I have three of my own but kids running and shouting on a site at this time of night is unacceptable. Really disappointing on what looks like a very quiet, friendly site normally. Plenty of people long term residents in site didn't look too happy about it either so probably not a frequent occurrence we maybe just were very unlucky on our visit. Staff apologised the morning after when I gave my concerns!

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site, large gravel pitches with water and drainage on. Pool beautiful, staff friendly and very helpful. Good walks from site, dog able to go on beaches close by, cycling tracks rough so suit mountain bikes. Would have scored shower block higher but it could be cleaner. Only downside which cannot believe hasn't been mentioned before is the dreadful smell from the on site sewage treatment plant. Really do suggest a pitch near the top of the site to stay away from the awful smell!!

Travelling party: Couple

Excellent site. Very helpful staff, excellent washing / toilet/ shower facilities. Booked in for two nights and stayed nine. Great pool and everything well maintained. Restaurant ok. Short wall to beautiful rough coastline with some secluded beaches and great walks in the parkland. Nowhere else we have stayed in the ACSI book compares with this.

We stayed at Ribamar at the end of February and beginning of March and found that all the previous positive review/comments were exactly as stated. Any categories not rated are due to not being applicable for the time of year. All staff and services are excellent. The area is fantastic for walking, off-road cycling and surfing.

Lovely clean and well organised site once you have navigated the 2km of unmade road to reach it. Facilities were spotless and staff very friendly and helpful. Pool excellent with lovely bar/restaurant above on a terrace. Walking direct from the site to some lovely coves - excellent for snorkelling.
