Good campsite, though a bit of a car park - no privacy between pitches. Sanitary facilities are good and well cleaned. Pool closed, but tennis is free. Restaurant menu seems good value drinks are reasonable. Supermarkets close by. Staff are lovely. Man with leaf blower, just blows dust everywhere, which was irritating, so did not use washing machine. Well situated for walks, cycling, beach.

It’s the best we have visited in France or Spain

Have stayed on this site several times over the years. It is always dependable for its standard and quality. Our first time here since covid, the swimming pool has been improved above its previous good level. Washrooms excellent, always clean as usual. As an old established site many of the pitches are not big enough for the caravans and motorhomes they allow to stay. It was cramped everywhere with towbars and vehicles extending into the narrow roadways. Nevertheless an excellent site, within walking distance to all pats of the town.

Good site hard standing placements accept ACSI clean facilities great pool 10 min bike to beach 30 walk good bar and restaurant on site and plenty in town only problem for us too many dogs barking throughout the night

What a great site, always clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is very good for supermarkets and a market in the town. On site the main attraction is the pool, with plenty of space to relax

We were fortunate to stay here at this family in June for 10 nights. First impressions are so important - the staff at reception were so hospitable, pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Pitches: Numerous in varying sizes and facilities but importantly you have a choice of completely shaded with overhead canopy or without. There are ample power and water outlets although the power is only 5amp so take care in what you have on together.
Facilities: Absolutely pristine with staff in attendance most of the day. Plenty of hot water and cubicles. Good washing area for clothes and crockery etc.
Restaurant/Bar: This is the real 'Jewel in the Crown' Open early evening with good choice of well prepared and presented food at a most reasonable price as are the drinks. We enjoyed 4 evenings there during our stay and were not disappointed.
Pool: Again kept pristine with ample sunbeds etc and lifeguard in attendance.
Location: Don't let its location at the back of an industrial estate put you off. Close to town and not too far from the beaches. Easy walk into the Old Town with good market. Well worth a visit if you enjoy strolling around same and absorbing the local atmosphere.
Beach: Platja de l'Arenel was our preference with easy free parking close by and only a few minutes by car. Several m/home users cycled there without issue.
Whilst staying here we found Bar El Paso on the outskirts of town (CV-734) and thoroughly enjoyed the 'Menu del Dia'. We would say it is a must if you enjoy a 'local eatery' It is certainly cheap and excellent value BUT take a good appetite with you, you'll certainly need it to get through the size of the portions.
Verdict: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and have no hesitation in recommending it to you.

great campsite - large pitches, many with a sunshade. shower and toilet block is very good and showers are spacious. there is a large pool. it’s close to the town and all the big supermarkets. The campsite itself is great, but the only downside when we were there is that on a number of evenings, not just weekends, there was very loud music played until 4-5 am from somewhere outside of the campsite. it was impossible to sleep. i don’t know if this happens outside of peak season.

The approach is through a commercial area, but don\'t let that put you off. Warm welcome on arrival, given a choice of pitches. One of the toilet blocks was closed for refurbishment which meant there was only one washing machine available for the whole site, so you needed to get up early to have a chance of using it. The toilet and shower facilities that were open were always immaculate. The pool is great. The bar is reasonably priced and free snacks were provided at certain times. The old town, port area and the beach area at the Arenal are all walkable for the reasonably fit and all are lovely in their own way. Food cycling in the area too.
