a very nice campsite with clean facilities. Pitches a bit small but also not easy to park in. pleasant bar and easy access to the centre via the Tram which was a 20 minute walk from the site

positive is the proximity of the great beach. its a small, familiar site with a lot of long term campers. not so easy to get to the pitches as already mentioned by other comments. leaving policy as 11h not very friendly.

Uno de los mejores, el personal de lo mejor que puedes desear, cerca de la playa, un pequeño paseo y ahí está. Supermercados cerca.One of the best, the staff of the best you could want, close to the beach, a short walk and there it is. Supermarkets nearby.

Travelling party: Couple

would not go back - getting onto / off pitches is one of the worst and we travel a lot.

We are experienced and never had any damage coasted trying to get into and off / out of a camp site, here we damaged the caravan getting both in and out - I would not risk it.

Travelling party: Couple

Travelling with a 7.3m caravan. Staff particularly helpful. Toilet and shower facilities very clean. The site has a lot of permanent/semi permanent residents and most of the pitches have the framework and green sunshades that seem to be common in Spain, which gives the impression of being hemmed in. The site roads are narrow and access is further hindered by the trees along the roads. The pitches have quite a high concrete edging to them. We are fairly experienced caravaners and well traveled, however, even having chosen one of the larger pitches, we only managed to get on the pitch with extensive use of the mover and placing of small slab stones to get over the edging. We experienced fairly poor weather but proximity to the beach is good. Beware the updated one way system in the local area. A useful stop over but by no means a destination in itself.

  • A7, then A70 exit 1 to N332 dir. Sant Joan d'Alacant. At first roundabout to the beach. Then left. Left again at restaurant La Ponderosa and straight on. Campsite on end of dead end road.
