Went on a recce for a forthcoming trip and glad we did. We walked around the site, how on earth we were expected to site a twin axle van I don\'t know? I have been in carparks / storage facilities with more room per unit. If you can put up with being treated like Sardines, then maybe the site is acceptable as it is located opposite the beach and close to town centre, restaurants, bars etc. but we won\'t be staying there.

Staff friendly in office explained the layout and gave us a pitch but gave us other available pitches. Most pitches are small and have trees encroaching onto pitch.Trees not cut till October. We found a large pitch that suited us. 2 toilet blocks kept clean and tidy, the pool was uncovered because of summer but will be covered in winter but pool warm enough and clean a number of sun beds are available; the bar drinks were cheap and the food also priced reasonably and tasted good. Anyone could book and get the same price as ACSI members but ACSI members got 4kw electric free. A few pitches are full timers and there are lodges /chalet types there as well. Bars are 100 mts away and do food and some have entertainment. Bus stop 200 mts away take you to town trains 20 minute walk. Could walk to beach in 30 minutes and recommend seeing a show at Benidorm palace.

This is a first class campsite. It is an easy walk to the town of Albir and an easy bike ride (all flat ) to Altea. There is a good beach bar ( Brew Rock ) at the entrance to the campsite that has live music on most nights.

Stayed on this site for 2 weeks because of COVID
Very few sites open but a very nice and friendly site pinches various sizes toilet facilities good . The beach just across the road but a shale beach .plenty restaurants .bars within 200 mts. The town less than 800 mts a bus to Benidorm every 30 minutes can walk along seafront to Altea which was nice.market on a Sunday probably 1 mile away.would use this site again suits us with just having motor home.

Excellent location right on the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Reasonable size plots with nice wide access roads. Good facilities and pleasant staff.

Significant number of statics and long stayers spread around the camp taking up mist of the best pitches. Central area of pitches closed off for on going renovations to roadways, so choice of pitches quite limited and varying in size - some quite small even for an Eriba caravan. Toilet facilities have had a facelift, but only really surface improvements, not a full upgrade. Agree with other reviewer that it is one of the less friendly sites we\\\'ve stayed on as many of the pitches used by touring visitors were separated from each other by statics or grumpy residents.

Perfect for walking to the town and the beach. Lovely friendly staff. Bus to Benidorm if you want a day out. Pet friendly with a dog bath to cool them down when it is hot.

too many rules and regulations, quiet tim 2359hrs to 0800hrs, grumpy campers mostly from holland and U.K. no dog walking on the campsite, the dog has to be taken off site for its business

Real shame this camp site is not the best.
Would never stay here again.
You’re packed in like sardines! Far to close for our liking!
Showers etc need updating, clean but very tired. Drains smell dreadful.
Altea is beautiful, lovely views across the bay (not from site) fantastic restaurants and great for shopping. Only stayed one night

Well having previously said I doubt I would return, well today we did, We intended to stay for three nights as I had said previously said area is nice. However having checked in, and then driving round to find an empty pitch we decided enough was enough, the site as rammed, only small hemmed in pitches available, the site having driven all round it is in need of some TLC, we drove back to reception to collect our ACSI card and moved on. Absolutely terrible site.
