Very well maintained site with good size terraced pitches most of which have a sea view. The pool is excellent and is filled daily with 30' salt water from an underground lake

Good size pitches around 80 sqm, some larger, all in terraces which can give you brilliant sea views. Showers and toilets very good and clean plenty of room and hot water. Pool very well maintained, hot mineral thermal spring water changed every night, high salt content. Very good free library and selection of board games and jigsaws. 4kw max daily allowance, small charge per kw over that amount. Café, good shop and bar open, staff always cheerful and helpful. Coastal walks, but a cash only site when paying the bill!

Second time we have stayed here. This time we brought our bikes and explored the local area in more detail. Quiet, older site, though hilly. Lovely little town you can cycle to and lots of walking. Well serviced with toilet blocks, very nice pool. Can only get free wifi at the bar and library. Bar not open on Sundays and closes at times during the day! Pitches different sizes and can be sloping. Some table tennis tables and one tennis court. Will visit again although think the rates are a little high compared to some other sites we've been to.

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon, reception closed and was greeted by an unwelcoming none English speaking man who was to say the least uncooperative. The site has a supermarket reasonably stocked could do better due to he fact that the nearest supermarket off site is a bit of a trek. The pool area is fantastic to as is the bar and cafe, there is also a well stocked library and a board games room with a bigger selection of games than Toys are Us, there are a number of toilet blocks with all the amenities you would expect, the beach is a bit of a trek, but quite walkable with a good footpath in both directions once at the beach. If I'm honest it's unlikely we will stay here again despite all the positives this site has to offer, the welcome we received spoiled our stay here, may be you will receive a better one.

An excellent campsite, pool refilled everyday & no dogs yippee. We cycled to Isla Plana & La Azohia, only about 1.5 kms either way. The showers & toilets were clean. Wifi was a bit slow but this isn't a huge deal to me as checking emails is the last thing I want to do on my hols. The bar wasnt open much when we were there which was a shame, after all that cycling a beer would have gone down very nicely. The pitch was perfect & the surrounding area we loved. Visited Puerto de Mazarron & loved that too. The staff were helpful & very friendly. Stayed longer than originally planned & would 100% go back to this site.

This was our second stay, visited same time last year too. At this time of year he site is relatively quiet with many of the long term people who overwinter leaving which offered a plentiful supply of excellent pitches available. It's a lovely week kept, easy going site with everything you need with the added bonus of the fantastic swimming pool. The wash lock half way up th site was closed for refurbishment - news basins and loos so will be good for later in the season. Our weather was very good although fairly strong winds whipped up on a couple nights. A day trip to Cartagena is very worthwhile with great view of the city and large Marina and harbour from the castle (panoramic lift is available) and for €8 the trip out on the 'tourist' catamaran which is a lovely hour long journey with the option of getting off at the fort at ChristmS Island. Lovely bars on the beach at La Azhoia not far away and several restaurants to choose from, although some closed at this time of year. We fully recommend this site, and again stayed for a very enjoyable week of rest and relaxation.

Great location with wonderful sea views to almost all plots, good amenities on site, indoor pool, outdoor pool warmed by underground spa waters. Short walk to beach and local shops etc.

Didn\'t like site at first. Lots of Germans and others here for the winter, once we settled down we ended up staying 10nights...great walking and cycling area. Heated salt water pool was fantastic. Pitches of various sizes and price with some seperation. We paid a bit above ACsi price to get a bigger pitche. The campsite is on tiered levels, if you get a pitch on the front of the tier you have a nice outlook, if you don\'t get a front pitch your view is generally the vehicle in front, you are also then overlooked by pitches on the ajoining tier. The bar and restaurant was good but very limited times, which was disappointing for the size of the campsite. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. No toilet paper or hand wash in toilets, for the price your paying I would expect it. Electric charged extra after 4kw per day. A few moans but we would definetly return.

Fantastic site great views from your pitch pools fantastic they do empty them every night and fill them every morning heated to 30 degrees. Shop is well stocked fresh bread every day. Cycling in the area is great mainly on roads but the Spanish drivers really do give you room they are so patient. You can turn right you have Puerto Mazarron 10 mile return or left and you have Azohia 5 mile return if you are up for it go past Azohia and up the hill to “the guns” well worth the effort. We will probably be returning to this site in the future you can’t fault it

We originally wanted to stay 4 nights and stayed 2 weeks. Lovely site with the best pool in the world! So warm and clean. There is also an indoor pool equally as warm. Gravel pitches which Ilike rather than dirt or sand. There is a library which has thousands of books, games and jig saws. Free wifi here for half an hour. Was close to a small town (cycle ride) and also close to various beaches. Very helpful and friendly staff.
