This site is firstly overpriced if not a long stayer. Wifi is extra 30 mins free a day, very 21st century. Electric is extra after 4kw per day. The bar is open one evening per week when there is a singer. Toilets lower down the steep hill were showing signs of wear. Plenty of hot water. When dark comes all into vans till morning. No local bars unless you like a good walk to the one that is open. No weekend checkout unless you have paid Monday to Friday as reception closed. Pitches are clean and get the sun
I moved after a few days to a site nearby that had all facilities and was cheaper. Leave it to the long stayers and over 65 group.
Please note, in the acsi book it is stated that this camp takes cards as payment, it does not! Cash only, nearly caught us out when we paid before leaving!!!
Second time we have stayed here. This time we brought our bikes and explored the local area in more detail. Quiet, older site, though hilly. Lovely little town you can cycle to and lots of walking. Well serviced with toilet blocks, very nice pool. Can only get free wifi at the bar and library. Bar not open on Sundays and closes at times during the day! Pitches different sizes and can be sloping. Some table tennis tables and one tennis court. Will visit again although think the rates are a little high compared to some other sites we've been to.
Stayed two nights in late September. Nice plots but very little shade. €19 Euro for small ACSI plots and €20 for larger plots. Very surprised to find that toilet paper and soap were not provided in the toilet blocks. Good little supermarket and pool. Plenty of hot water in washing up and laundry areas. The site is quite remote and not many places to visit within walking distance. Wi-fi needs to be paid for but phone signal is ok.
We went to this site for 2 days (27th/28th May). On arrival we were handed a plan of the site and told to have a walk around the site and select a pitch. There are various size pitches available. The shower and toilet blocks were nothing special, but adequate, clean with plenty of hot water. There is free Wi-Fi at the cafe/bar & library, which have a good selection of books, games & puzzles. You can also pay for Wi-Fi at the pitch. There is table tennis, a number of petanque courts and 2 swimming pools on the site. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only negative for this was the opening times of the bar. Which closed at 6pm. When open it serves light meals (pizza and readymade meals). The nearest (open) restaurants were a drive away. The onsite supermarket is reasonably priced.
Arrived on a Sunday afternoon, reception closed and was greeted by an unwelcoming none English speaking man who was to say the least uncooperative. The site has a supermarket reasonably stocked could do better due to he fact that the nearest supermarket off site is a bit of a trek. The pool area is fantastic to as is the bar and cafe, there is also a well stocked library and a board games room with a bigger selection of games than Toys are Us, there are a number of toilet blocks with all the amenities you would expect, the beach is a bit of a trek, but quite walkable with a good footpath in both directions once at the beach. If I'm honest it's unlikely we will stay here again despite all the positives this site has to offer, the welcome we received spoiled our stay here, may be you will receive a better one.
An immaculately appointed site overlooking the Med.
Free wi fi was available in the cafe area by the pool
The pool area was magnificent surrounded on all sides by mountains. The pool was refilled with fresh sea water every day and heated to a nice temperature.
The toilet/shower blocks were serviceable and very clean ,but were in need of updating.
A great site but the biggest negative, as a tent user, is the incredibly hard ground!
It was virtually impossible to drive normal tent pegs in and I suggest a trip to your favourite sports retailer for hard ground tent pegs if you want to pitch a tent here.
Another negative is that, late May/early June is counted as winter so the bar and supermarket were closed at weekend (although the free wi fi was still available)
Very quiet site and well maintained
We would definitely stay again but only midweek.
Great location with wonderful sea views to almost all plots, good amenities on site, indoor pool, outdoor pool warmed by underground spa waters. Short walk to beach and local shops etc.
Terraced pitches on hard standing. Pitch size reasonable. English spoken at reception. Mostly Germans when we visited in April. Water, power and gray waste disposal on each pitch. Showers are basic & dated. No hand washing facilities, soap and towels, in the toilet block. No toilet paper is provided. Excellent site library of some 4000 books. Shop and bar on site.
Minimum internet package from reception is 14 Euros and that’s for internet 24/7 for a week. You can go online and pay hourly but more costly. Electricity is also chargeable. Use more than 4 Kw a day you're charged extra. We use no heating nor we use the boiler but still went over our daily 4 Kw. I should say the charge, after two weeks, was only an extra 4 Euros when we left. They only accept cash, no credit cards or debit cards. The pool is excellent both indoor and outdoor. Local restaurants are excellent, set menus for less than 10 Euros. The area is pleasant. The beach is mostly rock, stone and single.
It is a very nice place and we have been there 1-3 weeks a year the last 4 years. And it is always so nice to arrive and meet this friendly people! The camping is always clean and the pool is fantastic, the places for the camper is big and you can see the sea from most of the places. You can easily walk to the beaches and to a small town Isla Plana and it is not more than 7 km to Port Mazaron.
