Once my favourite campsite but unfortunately spoilt this year by the amount of unthoughtful dog owners. The owners have spent massive amounts of money upgrading this site but dog owners seem to be content on ruining it. Whilst there for 7 weeks May and June this year dog owners allow the dogs to foul on vacant and sometimes used pitches and then just covering it over with their foot with the pitch gravel. Also supposed at the amount of dogs on the beach, here again dogs allowed to run free and foul and the owners take no notice. Whilst there they completed a new paved road and verge, then put lovely large flower pots around the area. Within a few hours the dogs had left their mark on these again. Hopefully the site will start restrictions on the amount of dogs allowed and start charging for them to cover the cost of keeping things clean.

This is the second time we have been to this site. We stayed for 4 weeks and had the most relaxing time we have had on any site. Every thing you need is within easy walking distance. The site seems to be being upgraded all the time but this was not interfering with what we were doing. We will definitely go back

Great location for a relaxing beach holiday. The toilet blocks are all modern and clean, access with my caravan not a problem, the usual care required at corners etc. Pitches are a good size with water, waste & 11A electric. The electric is metered and a charge applied above 6335KwH use per day. Because half the site is being upgraded (we were not disturbed by building noise), there number of pitches available was reduced and it was quite busy when we arrived around May day bank holiday. It was a shame the site shop & restaurant were not open during our stay, and more bars & restaurants outside the site. Overall a good experience and would consider again.

We stayed on Playa De Mazarron in May 2019, having been to this site in previous years. Unfortunately they are still working on the refurbishment of the site roads, so it was a bit noisy with heavy plant and dust. It is a very large site on the beach and walking distance to the bars and restaurants of the town, Bolnuevo. The major down side is the amount of dogs allowed on the site, some vans had 4 dogs on the pitch and allowed their animals to do their business on the pitch. We were having a meal with our Dutch friends one evening and all the dogs on the next pitch came around the back of the awning and pooed and peed right next to where we were eating. We complained to reception but just got a shrug. Other dog owners were really good and took their dogs off site, unfortunately again the majority seemed to just walk their dogs away from their van and allowed their dogs to mess on site, admittedly they carried bags with them and used them but left behind the smell and pee residue on the site, I certainly wouldn\'t take my children or grand children into this environment. This site could easily be five star if the staff policed the rules and regulations of the site dog control. The upside of the site was the lovely Spanish people we met and the gardens are fantastic. I\'m a dog lover so something needs to be done to get this site back to what it used to be.

Fourth visit to a lovely beach front site. Quiet area and very enjoyable. Can walk or cycle into the town and port. Facilities are excellent and staff are all friendly and multi lingual.

this is the second time we have stayed at this campsite and will definitely be back again.
Very busy site plots are nice and flat.
The toilet block we are nearest to have just been refurbished and are exellent, best I have been in in all the years I have been camping. the site is next to the beach and out the other side of the campsite is a lovely village with some nice restaurants and bars.

I have stayed for a number of weeks at this site in each of the past 12 years. The staff are always helpful and courteous and the management gives a Christmas hamper for those guests staying over the festive holidays. Nice gesture! The site is adjacent to the beach and there are nice local restaurants and bars in the village nearby. All this with a backdrop of the Sierra Espuna mountains!

At the site at the moment. The site is generally good with one dreadful exception. The ACSI inspector of the site has indicated that water and waste is available within 15m of the pitches. This is true for many pitches but this is untrue for many near the rear of the site. What is worse is that the only source of water to fill your motor home requires you get a key from reception to then use a filthy pipe that lies on the floor in the motorhome grey waste area.

Very busy campsite with lots of long term overwinters. Nice mix of nationalities the majority being French. Campsite divided in squares and quite jammed but lots of shade. Bit too crammed in for our liking. However the location is perfect. Adjacent to see and huge dog friendly beach with long, well it promenade, bars and restaurants near by. The toilets and shower blocks were fantastic, best we have seen anywhere. Nice pool and bar with frozen beer glasses!

Stayed here for three nights, nice beach, Bolnuevo interesting small town, good walk/cycle track through the Sierra de las Moreras to the south of the town. Camp site facilities are excellent however the plots are small, little privacy and resembles a car park for campervans and caravans...
