Travelling party: Couple

Stayed overnight so didn\'t get to sample the pool and facilities. Pitch level, and quiet when out of season as we were. A lot of permanent set ups so could be noisy if all occupied !
The surrounding town looked interesting but did not explore.
Would use again if in the area

We stayed here en route to the north. Pitches are tired and worn out, preference given to weekenders from Madrid. Permanent pitches are scruffy and have a shanty town apparence. Avoid at all costs at weekends. All pitches are pre booked. Aranjuez is the \"place to be seen\" at weekends, weddings, celebrations etc.. That is is if you don\'t mind going six times round the roundabout to find the place. It is a pity the bar staff are treated so badly ( I am a fluent Spanish speaker and their attitude stinks!) Aranjuez is a nice city. The site is expensive for what you get. Wifi expensive. Full of Brits undecided where to,go.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed here as we got recommended it for going to Madrid as it was cheap and quick to get to. Unfortunately it wasn\'t, we had to take our campervan to the station as it was a distance and it was more expensive than we thought, however it did take around 50 mins to get to Madrid. However Aranjuez was great, the whole town is very nice with the palace and surroundings. The campsite was good, the swimming pool was open which was a bonus, and the toilets and showers were also good. As there is a river running next to the campsite, there were loads of mosquitos!

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed in campervan for two nights, just the two of us. Great \'plate of the day\' meal and good value. The site is great, quite noisy near the kids stuff but that\'s kids and we parked well away and very peaceful. The Palacio Real and royal gardens were the real treat. Stunning palace and boat museum in gardens. Gardens are free. Beautiful surroundings and lovely Spanish cafes. We had great weather so that may have meant we enjoyed more. Lovely river runs alongside the camp.

Travelling party: Couple

Stopped on route from Malaga to Santander not sure how it is rated Cat 1 as the showers by the shop are appalling, hot water is either scalding hot or cold, impossible to regulate. Staff weren\'t concerned, most were leaking from joints, shower trays filled up and didn\'t drain, if someone else was showering your tray filled up, a few of the doors had holes a were badly scratched, the water tap on the pitch had been repaired as the pipe had broken, now teed into the black irrigation pipes that aren\'t drinkable. Staff were friendly enough, the bar staff and restaurant were very good. The place needs a lot of maintenance. The town was a gem with plenty to see in the Royal Palace. Won\'t be returning.

Travelling party: Seniors

We used this site as a stop over travelling West to East from Porto to Valencia the pitch we were given was amongst a lot of permanent vans so we asked to move which was not a problem, we found out later there were much better pitches on the other side of the site. The site is OK it could have been better if the sun had been shining but in the rain it was not great. The town is steeped in Spanish history with a number of royal palaces set in a massive parkland it is well worth a visit just to see the building. The town itself is a very ordinary modern town. Not a site or place I would like to stay more than two nights at.

Our second visit to this site which has greatly improved in the last two years. Warm welcome from Roberto and the reception staff. Well marked out pitches, mostly with shade. Great for children with lovely pool complete with slides etc. \"Toy\" train into town although a pleasant walk/cycle ride also. Trampolines, bouncy castle etc and children and adult entertainment. Good cycling country with very friendly locals. Pleasant park and palace (exterior only) and a nice market and square. Well worth a visit and the campsite is highly recommended although at times the tannoy was a bit intrusive.

Travelling party: Seniors

I am glad we found this site as the town in not to be missed. Very busy even in May/June but a constant turnover so getting a pitch should not be too much of a problem. Some pitches are hard to access as hidden behind others. The far end of the site is much quieter but longer to walk to town.
The pool was being reconstructed when we were there so sadly we were not able to use it.
Did not use restaurant but shop was well stocked and not too overpriced. Cold beer available at a reasonable price but stock up for long afternoon closure.
Remember the \"little train\" parks at the site and you can get a free ride into town in the morning at about 10.30. Sometimes runs a bit late and literally you have to hang onto your hat as it races over cobbles to catch up!

Travelling party: Couple

A nice site convenient for Madrid, Toledo and the lovely town of Aranjuez. Large trees provide welcome shade, pitches are a good size. Toilet blocks are spotless. Much quieter pitches are at far end of site. Currently upgrading the pool area. Good shop & bar on site.

Travelling party: Seniors

This site is what it says it is - lively. Good facilities, crowded but adequate space on each pitch. Good transit site close to Toledo and train to Madrid. We stayed at the furthest end from the pool/children\'s area and it was great.
