General information

At Campsite Navarrete in Navarrete (La Rioja) camping costs as little as €18,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. At one of the 50 touring pitches you will get a discounted rate during the period 01-09-2020 - 13-12-2020. At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).

A good campsite in the Rioja region, 10 km from Logroño. A base for trips out in the area, but also suitable as a stopover campsite. Naturally a visit to one of the many Rioja bodegas is 'compulsory'.

Travelling party: Seniors

A lot of seasonal pitches and when we were there this year one very nice Spanish lady gave us a bag of apples and pears. The touring pitches are quite rutted in places which can cause difficulty. I would imagine they could be more problematic in wet weather.

We stayed at this site for one night, I have to disagree with the last review as Ifound the staff very helpful, the toilets were imaculate, we didn\'t use the pool or restaurant so cannot comment, the only criticism I have and it\'s a small one is we had a great thunder storm and the following morning the pitch was soft to say the least but we got off, and no problems with the electric. I would recommend this site..

Stayed here on an off season trip and had the field almost to ourselves. Great facilities and friendly staff. Really good base for exploring the Rioja region.

We have stayed at this campsite on each of our visits to Spain as a good site when returning to the ferry either Santander or Bilbao an easy drive. There are quite a few really good bodegas selling fantastic Rioja but we always go to the cooperative bodega which is virtually across the road from the campsite. Reds and Roses are fantastic and amazingly cheap. Campsite bar is very pleasant but limited food choices. Pitches are a little small but we have always been told to use 2 pitches when not busy. Friendly and helpful site, looking forward to returning early June this year 2019

Site is in extremely poor condition.electric hook up appears very unsafe many caravans in very poor condition makes it look like a shanty town or gypsy camp. Would not stay here again.

As others have already mentioned, this site is full of static caravans, having said that, the showers are second to none that we have experienced whilst camping. Great water pressure and very clean.

On arrival at site we were met with a very nice & helpful receptionist, who also gave us local information in English. We ate in the bar and had a lovely meal and two drinks . A very friendly site with very clean facilities. WiFi is free at the bar. The bar is very up to date with a beautiful seating area for reading with books available to read/exchange,,. The road into town is straight and cycling friendly,, we plan on using our bikes,,you will require an adapter for the electricity, available at reception for deposit,,

Used this site as a stopover and it served that purpose well. Not sure if I would want to stay at busier time as there were many permanent pitches.

Travelling party: Group of friends

In the second year of new ownership the deterioration continues. the ACSI review is hopelessly out of date, there is no site maintenance, rubbish on pitches, dog and cat mess, grey water dumped on pitches, grey water drain blocked, tree branches hanging in pitches, poor electrics. No daily oversight or care. Surly cafe & Reception unhelpful. Tired showers. The site reflects the owners attitude to customers.

We chose this campsite for its proximity to Logrono and found it an easy 15 minute walk into Navarette to get the twice hourly bus. (Timetable on request from helpful reception staff). Campsite has a lovely swimming pool and loungers. Excellent, plentiful toilet/shower facilities. Campsite is mostly static caravans so would be very busy weekends.
