This is a very large campsite, however it was quiet when we were there. Reception can give you some maps for walking routes directly out of the campsite which was great.
The pitches are quite private and spacious.
Only stayed one night but I would go back there if i had bikes with me. Its a nice site with good facilities but is as it said - remote. Swimming pool good and pitches good too.
Huge site must be bedlam in high season. Pool very good with a bar, used by locals after school. Shop on site but shut when we arrived at 3.30pm and didn’t open again. Facilities good, clean. Cost of using the washing machine was the most expensive we’ve paid in Spain.
We would have liked to stay longer however the noise made by barking dogs was intolerable and because we were in a tent woke us constantly.
This site was ideal for touring around this beautiful area. private large pitch. the lady in reception spoke good English and was very helpful. The showers had hot water and were always very clean. we would definately stay here again
We were the only van here, a bit creepy! The site a bit remote but v peaceful. Lovely French guy on reception. Trees overhanging our plot. Amazing huge toilets etc, but shower block not well heated. No hand dryers. Amazingly the restaurant was open, although we didn’t eat there. All in all a good stop.
`Beautiful, mostly shaded site, good size pitches. Shop and pool closed, good restaurant. Middle of nowhere but lots of activities in the summer for families. Good walking but not near a village. Not far from S de Compostela.
A very warm welcome at reception. Lady spoke good English and was very informative about the area and what to see. Very good sized pitch and the toilet/ shower facilities are something to experience. Very clean and lovely hot showers. Nice size pool although not open when we were there. Restaurant and supermarket on site. Great for walking and cycling, very peaceful and relaxing
this campsite had so much promise but we are very disappointed. incredible noise including singing from residents of the bungalows from 3am to 5am which the site staff did nothing to stop and was repeated on the second night. So we left. Also description said 35 mins from Santiago. we took over an hour at 120km per hour where permitted. If you want to go there choose a more local site!
Pitches tired and small, except past bar, larger pitches on right. Lots of seasonal caravans on site which makes place look scruffy and unkempt. Reception staff fantastic, toilets superb. Bar man, Angel, incredibly rude and sarcastic. He thinks he speaks English. I speak fluent Spanish so formal complaint made. Pool not open, except for Spanish visiting at weekend. Bar appears to be out of bounds to foreigners. Area nice to visit, if only for a couple of days. We won't return for reasons stated.
The campsite describes itself as rural, so we should not have been surprised to find ourselves quite a long way off the main road up a hill. The site is surrounded by trees and hills, very pleasant, but no sea views. A nearby mirador has fantastic views. This is a well run site, with excellent sanitary facilities and a very good swimming pool. Caravan and camping car pitches are difficult to access, with steep ramps into the separate areas. Pitches at the top of the site are more level, but have limited shade. Tent area is flatter and very shady. This site offers many country pursuits - walking, riding, quad biking, but is not really handy for a beach, if that's what you want.
