What a gem of a site! The location is incredible, the best ever. We had a pitch overlooking the beach which was paradise. You can walk along the beach for quite a way. The sea was too cold for me to swim though! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The terrace for drinks / eating is great. The convenience of getting the bus from the camp entrance in/ out to Santiago de Compostela was wonderful. We stayed here far longer than we had anticipated and it was very hard to leave. A site we would definitely go back to. Very highly recommended.

We stayed at A Vouga on 28th & 29th April ‘18 in our VW camper. We really liked this site. It’s location adjacent to the beach is lovely. Toilet and shower facilities were very clean and tidy although there’s no hot water in the main hand basins. The cafe and restaurant are really nice. We had a meal in the restaurant of local fish which was excellent. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. You can walk to the two local towns on footpaths. Recommended.

Amazing location right next to a beautiful beach. Friendly staff, good food, free wifi. Lovely view from the terrace keeping a lookout for dolphins swimming past. Easy cycle ride into Muros.

Hard to imagine a better location. You can watch the sun go down each night from the terrace bar. Friendly staff. A stroll into Muros and there's several cafes and a supermarket. If you eat in the campsite restaurant the portions are enormous.

Small site but gave everything you would expect of a site this size. Very friendly staff both in reception and bar. It was a pity that there was no hot water in the toilet facilities. Would recommend this site and location.

Poor water pressure in the showers and could do with squeeges in the showers for cleaning floor. Pitches were small but the views more than made up for it. Restaurant evening menu pricey but menu del di a excellent but watching dolphins swim by was fantastic.

What a gem of a camp site. The location is perfect to relax at with plenty of things to do in the area if you wish to. You can catch a bus, walk or cycle and the local taxis are very good value. Supermarkets are plenty in adjacent Muros and on our last day we found a well stocked Spar supermarket in Louro itself up a back street off the beaten track. We have seen lots of dolphins during our 21 night stay only moving on to fit in our other places we wanted to visit. I have never felt so relaxed anywhere before. The views and the beach are perfect and whilst the campsite may initially appear a little scruffy you have to realise your camping on granite which turns to black sand. On the other side all the staff, without exception, were the most friendly and helpful we have probably met. The toilet facilities were cleaned to a very high standard on a regular basis throughout the day it’s just unfortunate many campers are happy to walk the black sand into the showers, which is not necessary. Levelling blocks were needed.

Beautiful beach location. Fairly small pitches, good facilities. Restaurant had limited menu - either the menu del dia or quite expensive main menu - no snacks, bocadillos etc for lunch. Easy walk to next village - boardwalk all the way. 45 mins drive to Finisterre but prob not the best departure to Santiago - we stayed here for two nights. moved north for one night and did S de C on way back to north coast. Muros worth a visit.

The location of this site is wonderful, right on a pristine white sand beach. The restaurant and bar terrace overlooks the bay so is perfect for sundowners or breakfast. The site is fairly old, but the sanitary facilities were all spotless. Pitches were average in size and generally flat.. a few low branches need a careful eye! We found the staff very helpful and friendly. A small village, Louro is just 500 mtr away and the larger town of Muros about 3 km with lots of fine restaurants and shops as well as being a working fishing town.
This was our favourite site of a recent 6 week trip and is top of our list for next year.
