Travelling party: Couple

An excellent family-run campsite with direct access to a large, uncrowded sandy beach. The modern toilet block was kept scrupulously clean with excellent Covid protocols in place. The family running the campsite were so friendly and helpful. Yes, there is a railway line nearby (in common with all the campsites along this stretch of coastline) but after a while you don\'t hear the trains! It is now one of our favourite campsites and we can recommend it without hesitation.

Nothing to add that\'s already been said really, first visit here but it won\'t be the last.... we have had a very quiet relaxing week (yes you can hear the trains but it\'s a small price to pay) some lovely meals in the restaurant beautiful walks along the prom and further on along the coast path which goes all the way to Tarragona if you want and miles of fairly empty beech outside the back gate!!

We have been holidaying in our motorhome for 10 years now and Camping Clara is one of the best sites we have used. The family owners and their staff are so helpful and friendly and all amenities on site are modern and spotlessly clean. The onsite supermarket is well stocked and the restaurant offers a range of excellent ,well priced food. There is easy access to a superb beach from the site and also easy access to the promenade, which has a range of bars and restaurants , from the beach or the road beside the site. Although there are no separated cycle paths we found the cycle lanes by the road side reasonably quiet and safe. Brilliant site run by lovely people, we will be back.

They are using the ACSI to attract clients but only on check-in they tell that the areas reserved for ACSI clients are full and if you wants to stay have to pay more. I am not returning here anymore.

We stayed 3 nights in our motorhome. A small site and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Efficient check-in. We were guided onto our pitch by the owner as low trees are awkward. Ours was a rather small pitch; there are larger ones. Trains at back of campsite are frequent, but we found that we got used to them. New toilet block excellent. Hot water for washing up and showers. Easy access to beautiful long beach and promenade under railway. Town centre 20 minutes walk along road. Lively with shops, bars and restaurants. On-site restaurant has good value and quality set menu.

A small very nice and clean campsite. The staff helps you to come in to the pitches which can be a bit tricky because of the trees. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach and not so far to the small town. We will be back for a lounger stay.

This is our 6th visit. We use it twice a year on our way south for winter and in spring heading north. Juan and Martha, the brother and sister owners are the friendliest, most helpful people. The new sanitary facilities are 1st class and spotless. The bar restaurant is reasonably priced with simple food served (large portions). Pitches can be tight but Juan is a master at guiding you in. Trees provide ample shade but still allow sunny patches for those who like to soak up the sun. Town with everything you need is within walking distance. Beach accessed through security gate and is 7km of glorious sand. Trains pass at end of site but soon become accustomed.

We were here in May and June this year, and we agree with the comments that have been made by previous visitors.
We have an 8 metre caravan, some pitches are very hard to negotiate, a mover is a must with large caravans.
It is in our opinion one of the best sites, when you consider these points, friendly, helpful, laidback, sanitation, beach, shaded pitches, value for money.
For us this site ticks all the boxes.
We will be back.

Only stayed here for one night we were meant to stay for two. This campsite is lovely. Friendly staff, great facilities, near to a superb beach BUT.....right near the railway line. It is a busy line and doesn\'t stop all night. freight trains as well as passenger. We were offered a choice of 2 pitches. One was near to the restaurant and a big pitch bit it cost an extra It was a bit tricky getting our campervan in but was ok. unfortunately we got hardly any sleep so had to move on the next day. Shame really because it\'s a little gem.

So lovely hoping to visit again in 2019
