This site has to have one of the best pools in Spain, fabulous, reception friendly and professional, restaurant and bar great, beach, excellent.
Now the not so good, the pitches have tight access from the service roads which are very narrow, the shower block are clean, however out of the five nights we stayed there we only had hot water for three nights, the push button shower operation has to be the shortest time on record, one point five seconds, ridiculous, if you have a small van and want a fantastic pool this has to be the place to come, other than that consider elsewhere.
Great site, this is our third visit, twice before in the spring plus this one. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful Toilets are always clean and a very good standard, there are sockets in both the men’s and ladies for hair dryers etc. The pool and restaurant area over the road from the main site are a 4 star hotel standard. The Acsi card is accepted on the majority of the pitches the only exception relates to the ones overlooking the beach and I understand there is an additional charge per night for these. It’s is a very large site with lots of lodges etc so can get very full at times like weekends. The only minor issues relates to the pitches where the trees have overgrown the pitch and rest on the caravans or motorhome, these could do with trimming and the other point relates to the showers where the control is a push button where the length of flow time is from zero to about 10 seconds. it was close to the end of season so perhaps these points may be covered by maintenance in the closed season. Great site we would recommend it and we will be back
Never again. Not our type of site. The toilet facilities were clean, the pitches difficult to access due to trees & ramps & the extra 5 € a night for sea view seems excessive as the pitches are no better. The staff seem to delight in racing about as fast as possible on their golf buggies. Unfortunately there was a group of about 100 teenagers on site who were sooooo noisy, although reasonably well behaved. The pool area was well maintained & pleasant. The shop was very expensive & the launderette the dearest we have paid on all 7 sites we have stayed on so far this trip. If you want peace & quiet forget it.
Well groomed site. Sanitary facilities good and clean. gated access to beautiful beach. My only gripe is the push button showers, that only stay on for two seconds.
Probably one of the best Spanish camp sites accepting ACSI! Great views from many pitches. Well run and efficient. Stayed here more times than we can remember! Never fails to please us.
Great campsite situated immediately next to an attractive beach with woods either side to which you can walk to other beaches including lovely small coves. Showers and toilets good and excellent shop. Fabulous pool, bar and restaurant on a separate part of the site so the camping areas are kept quiet. Pitches on the small size and can be difficult to access. We had a pitch right next to the beach for which you pay extra. Good bus service to Tarragona, a beautiful and interesting small city.
Loved the postion of this site and had nice size pitch, but disappointed that the charge for a pitch overlooking beach was extra even though smaller, some of the staff were lovely and friendly but odd one offhand, but would certainly stay again as beach was great and a lovely little prom with great resturants close and a reasonable shop on site.
we have visited this site for some years now, albeit some were overnight, but we have stayed for longer on here, it is without doubt a very good site and for most it will be what they want but we do like to travel and we have always found the site clean, tidy, and most of all the staff are usually great, we do think the plots are a bit small, especially on the top tiers. We do intend to visit it again in June 2017 on a stopover going to south, and again coming back up, we have a motorhome with scooter facility for getting around on and shopping too, just carry plenty of deet or jungle formula with you as if your near the hedges you will get bitten by the tiger mosies, apart from that the site is a 9 out of ten for us George & Jeanette from Co Durham.
Third year we've visited and it doesn't disappoint. Lovely setting, great beach and a well laid out site. Facilities kept clean. Our only gripe is that you can't take your dog into the bar area as it's within the pool complex and no separate entrance however it's their loss as a few good bars and restaurants on the beach. Supermarkets in Altafulla plus a bus service into Tarragona.
Very good site, about as good as they get really. Right on the beach with hedges around each plot. very clean and a fantastic pool/cafe/restaurant . Our grandkids would love it. If forced to critique the site, there did not seem anywhere meaningful to cycle to, some of the pitches would be difficult to get onto with a caravan if one did not have motor movers and many had a little curb which, if ours had one, I"m sure would have made life more interesting than it need be. Don't let that put you off though, a smashing site!
