Campsite Las Palmeras is a campsite with 140 touring pitches and 40 year round pitches. During low season, between 23-04-2019 - 13-06-2019 and 12-09-2019 - 13-10-2019, the nightly rate is €18,- at one of the 140 touring pitches at Campsite Las Palmeras in Tarragona (Tarragona).
Paradise for beach lovers. You can camp beside or up to 50m from the beautiful sandy beach. At the end of the site is the Punta de la Mora walking area. 4 km from the historic city of Tarragona. All this compensates for the noise of the railway.

Booked for 2 nights, ended up staying 5, we really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful reception staff got things off to a good start. The train line runs very close to the site and the noise quite loud but it didn’t bother us or disturb our sleep. It’s a huge site, very long and narrow, running parallel to the beach. We were close to the tennis courts, a good 5-10 minute walk from reception. We were on a standard pitch and it was a really good size with light shade from mature trees. The beach was around 30 metres away and was lovely and clean. Fellow campers were mainly Spanish and there were lots of families over the weekend. We enjoyed seeing them enjoying themselves with their children, the weather was lovely and the atmosphere was great. We are retired but both have big families with lots of children so are used to a bit of noise, others might prefer it quieter. The toilets and showers were spacious, well lit and clean, but there was a whiff of sewage which got a lot worse when the site was busier. The supermarket was pretty good, not too expensive. We didn’t use the cafe or restaurant. We got the bus to Tarragona. It’s a really nice town with lots to see and many restaurants. It would also be possible to do a day trip to Barcelona as Tarragona has a railway station. We would recommend the site, for location and facilities but not if you really value peace and quiet.
I\'ve no doubt that many people will love this site, right next to the sea with good facilities. But for us we thought it was hideous - drove in looked round and straight back out. Much to go go go for us, but but please don\'t let this put you off - just not for us!
lovely site visited for about 7years toilet facilities much cleaner this year . reception and security staff brilliant.be back next year.
This campsite seems to have had a major revamp. The toilet blocks are modern, spacious and clean. There are tennis courts,a football pitch, a large pool and play areas for children of all ages. All this and you are on a long site right on a lovely beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. We thought driving into Tarragona was the best option and there was parking for our van with about 20 walk into the historic centre. The train noise didn’t-bother us as it was drowned out by the lapping of the waves on the beach. We would highly recommended this site!
We stayed here Monday to Friday - great site on the beach. Lots of dog walking areas and Tarragona city is beautiful. The OVERNIGHT noise from the TRAINS is deafening. Very poor nights sleep - the train line goes practically through the camp site. There are lot of permanent pitches set up for locals for their weekends and holidays - tourers with fixed awnings and their separate tents for their white goods. The water pressure in the shower blocks behind reception is brutal to say the least. Your body gets a real pounding. The water is tremendously hot and difficult to regulate. Having said all that the beach and walks are the best we have encountered so far. Would return but not weekends and not for long ( lack of sleep)
calidad precio excelente. Si no te importa el tema trenes, claro. Buen servicio y muy bien atendidos. Las parcelas son grandes. Importante llevar bici.
