Check in was a long process. We were encouraged at every opportunity to upgrade to ACSI \'plus\' to get a better place (at an increased price). There appeared not many places at standard ACSI price. The site was quite empty but we ended up on the edge of the site with the bins. I asked for an escort to find the place but this was refused. The restaurant was open but quite expensive with a limited menu, we declined. The site has many high tech features but the number plate recognition at reception couldn\'t read my plate resulting in delays in going out at night and leaving. This is a first class site with many beautiful pitches, sadly ACSI members fill up the ones others don\'t want, unless you upgrade.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

We stayed here 3 nights in our motorhome with pup tent. Friendly check-in, though I had to pay on arrival and then was overcharged. This was corrected later. We arrived Sunday afternoon and it was very busy, much quieter during the week. A huge site with big swimming pool complex and easy access to lovely beach. 1km walk along beach to Altafulla with bars and restaurants. Took our son to Reus airport; an easy 30 minute drive.

The campsite was located at a beautiful beach where we really enjoyed the stay.
Nice toilets and showers.
But... the pitches are a just a disgrace! We got a list of 10 60m2 pitches unless we wanted to pay extra for premium where we managed to find a pitch that at least 80 m2. The campsite was only occupied to 20% but for a \"normal\" pitch we then should need to pay regular price.

Great campsite, right on the beach with everything you could ever wish for on hand. A little bit out of the way so you do need some sort of transport. The downside, ACSI pitches at the back with the local seasonal clients which is fine during the week but the weekend is delirious. In early June I was told only one ACSI pitch available even though there were no other clients in that area but of course I could upgrade to a better pitch. I felt that yes, the ACSI card was accepted but not so welcome. Apart from the position, everything was just great.

First class site near the beach. It’s a shame ACSI pitches are awful. I can’t quite understand why they don’t offer us better pitches when there are lots empty. If you want a decent pitch near the sea, away from the noise and shade, be prepared to pay more which is what we were charged end of season. Best pitches on front line were even dearer but we were not told how much as they were all taken.
Showers etc very good, clean and hot water. This site won’t appeal to everyone as it is s very large site and very popular with ‘locals’. Lots of flies and mosquitoes when we were there. Impossible to sit outside van. Didn’t try the restaurant but it’s a nice location below the castle, lit up at night. Beach is nice with. Village is about 20 minute walk along it.

We came with caravan, the pitch sizes are big enough to have a large awning and still be able to park the car. Beach and pool are both A1, would definitely come again,we stayed for three weeks, not long enough.

Quiet place, with many activities for adults and children.
  Large plots
  Friendly and attentive staff
Beautiful fishing village 5 minutes walk.

With direct access to the beach.

Next to medieval castle, now restaurant
  A pleasant stay, highly recommended

Travelling party: Couple

Very large campsite with excellent facilities and easy access to beach. Good view of Tamarit castle which did not appear to be open to the public. Probably busy high season but touring area well segregated and quiet low season. Some pitches (not ACSI) on the beach. Good, professional facilities.

Second visit and would recommend. Pitches are in the main large with facilities on site including free WiFi. Stayed for 2 weeks and got discount without ACSI card. Lovely beach, good supermarket and helpful staff, will return.

Travelling party: Couple

Second visit and didn’t disappoint. Facilities all good and got a discount for staying 2 weeks. Pitches large with everything you need and good free WiFi. Great for nature, beach and pool. Restaurant a little expensive as is supermarket (with bakery and English papers). You can walk to nearest town Altafulla or to the train station along the beach. We took our bikes to Tarragona return (platform 1) and pay on train platform 2 takes you to Barcelona. There is a bike/walk track to nearest Mercadona but not if has rained as floods. Will be back as love the beach and site.
