We spent three nights on this site and absolutely loved it. We ended up here because our first choice site was full but I am so glad and next time it will be my first choice. Unlike the sites in Cambrils Oasis is directly on an unspoilt beach without a prom etc behind it. The beach was only really used by the campsite and was great for swimming with lovely sand. The surroundings of the site are not built up with fields on either side. A real oasis in the mainly developed strip of seafront and Cambrils was only 15 minutes away by bike on a safe route away from the main road.
The reception staff spoke good English and were so helpful and friendly. We were able to chose our pitch and then let them know. There are some areas very shaded but we had a sunny spot near the beach. Some areas are dog friendly and others for no dogs which is a great idea. The actual pitches were quite large and flat and just on the sandy earth. All nice and rustic giving a proper seaside camping feel. I could imagine staying here for two weeks for a relaxing beach holiday..
Shower facilities were spotless with the hottest water experienced in 5 weeks and a good mixer tap not push button. Cubicles were large with shelf space and dry hangings. Toilet paper and soap provided. Also good washing up and washing machines. The supermarket had bread to order every day but in September closed at 1. The restaurant and bar was open and got busy although we didn't try it. The pool looked nice and clean and again was well used but not by us. It had a large grassy area around it to sit.
All in all a great site for a proper non urbanised beach break. Will return.
Lovely site with excellent facilities and good sized pitches, just one grumble the clients used the beach for dog walking when the site clearly states on the map where the dog walk8 g area is located
Excellent campsite for no frills relaxing holiday. Reception staff very friendly, pitches spacious and direct access to beach. Will definitely return.
Absolutely loved this site. Lovely and quiet. They have 3 different zones. We were away from the static caravans and it was lovely and quiet. Pitches are gravel and we had lots of shade. Great little pool and gorgeous beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Site constantly being maintained. Will definitely be back.
Stayed one night. Site right on the beach. Small beach bar/shack about 5 mins along the beach. You could pitch under the trees right next to the beach if free. Pool not particularly inviting, as it was in a fenced grassed area. Supermarket not open when we were there as too early in the season. Nice relaxed feel. Toilets were fine. Not the newest but very clean. Site good for one or two night stay.
The pitches were a good size although only on sand/earth which when it rained became very muddy. Location was right on the beach with good access.
Bread etc could be purchased at the small supermarket on site, the Bar was closed on our visit closes early October.
Site was handy for access to Cycle track from which you could go to Cambrils or Miami Platge.
Reception was very helpful and spoke very good English.
The town of Cambrils had a good market on Wednesday and the old town had some very nice streets and restaurants.
This campsite is okay, not the best but certainly not the worst. The toilet facilities were very clean but in the shower cubicles there were no hooks or shelves, just the holes left in the wall from where they once were, therefore it was impossible to shower without getting your belongings wet. The water temperature was mostly okay except on one occasion when it was just barely warm enough. No hand washing soap provided though. The pitches were quite varied, many of them had overhanging trees which made it difficult to get on and off. Lots of people park as close as possible to the beach so in that area it is very close together and congested. The restaurant looked good but unfortunately not open in the evenings yet, last few days of May. It is a very long walk into Cambrils, about 6kms, the bus only runs along part of the route. The WiFi was okay.
After a disastrous stay at nearby Joan site we moved here. Intended to stay for 2 nights and stayed 6.
If, like us, you are lucky enough to get a sea facing pitch you won't want to leave. The other pitches are adequate but all a bit rough. Sanitaires are satisfactory but a long walk from the sea facing pitches. Washing up sinks are dilapidated and could do with some TLC.
The downside of this site is that there is really nothing here but the site and the beach. As the shop was only open at weekends when we were here that meant a 7Km cycle or drive to Cambrils for shopping
What a lovely site we visited June 4th for two nights and were given a pitch with a great sea view, the toilet and showers were good as was the washing up facilities, didn’t use the pool or shop so can’t rate them the only thing that spoiled it for us were the dog owners who flagrantly broke the rule of no dogs on beach area, constantly saw dog owners taking their dogs on the beach but never seen one with a poo bag! One actually let his dog wee on our pitch while he was on the lead.....rude!
