We arrived on 2/4/25 reception was ok but no smiles! The pitches allocated to us with a twin axles caravan were big enough but very muddy, with a lot of standing water as it was raining! We soon found that we couldn’t even boil a kettle on the amps of electric provided! We decided to only stay the one night so went back to reception to explain why we had to leave and they refused any sort of refund for the second night we had paid for saying it was a 2 night minimum stay which I couldn’t see anywhere in their literature or ACSI info?
Very disappointing and I would not recommend this site to anyone, the whole site is dated and needs a lot of tlc!!

Used this site in October 2022. Facilities were fine in the block we used. Beach small but clean enough. Dogs do go on the beach despite signs saying no dogs. Site staff OK. Pitches are a decent size some with shade some not. We paid the ACSI rate a night but for 2023 it\'s advertised at a higher rate a night. A big jump compared to other sites in the Acsi book. Is this price wrong? I wouldn\'t pay the new rate for this site in low season.

Reception is open 8am - 8pm and they speak English. Campsite is well maintained. Facilities (toilets, showers, dish washing sinks etc) are very clean. Lovely hot showers that are not on a timer! Pitches are gravely. Direct access to a sand and pebble beach. Unfortunately the restaurant was not up to speed when we visited. Only one staff member spoke limited English. No printed menu or price list available as we were told they only opened 2 weeks ago. Food we chose was okay but chips were soggy! A returning Dutch campsite visitor told us the restaurant had new people running it this year. Hopefully they will improve as the season progresses. We enjoyed our stay and so we would like to return.
