lovely site, pitch right in front of the sea. toilet/shower is one of the best. Very good beach to walk dogs, restaurant/bar on the beach. pitch can be tight but ok in low season. would definitely return. Walking distance to supermarket.
Lovely old fashioned style site right next to beach. Muddy pitches when it rains heavily which makes some pitches unusable.
Amazing new toilet and shower facilities cannot be faulted.
Only downside is lack of bins. You have to walk right off the site to find recycling and rubbish bins, about 5 min walk, therefore people are stuffing rubbish in bins on beach which will eventually end up in the sea!
Does what it says on tin. Shower/block very clean and modern. Pitches almost on the beach. Helpful staff. Value for money. Bar closed at this time of year.
This is a fantastic campsite, I highly recommend it.
The pitches are front line, meters from the beach.
The toilet / shower facilities are not only brand new, but beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and more than large enough to cater for the site.
The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a well stocked inexpensive shop selling freshly baked bread and croissant open Friday_ Sunday.
There is also a bar & restaurant open for the weekend that we did not try but heard good reports about.
The site is a 4km walk to the town, but there are several bars and restaurants open either way along the beach.
This is a typical scruffy spanish campsite that looks like a shanty town but if you can forgive that the location is stunning. The motorhome pitches are front line on the most lovely of beaches in a very peaceful location. Miami Platja is within a bike ride and has plenty of shops, restaurants and a huge beach. They have just opened a brand new toliet, shower, laundy and dishwash block which is the best I have seen in many years travelling in Spain. The price includes electric which is a bargain for such a location.
The camping pitch for vans and motorhomes is first class with a great position literally on the sand, sheltered by a small dune. Unfortunately that's where the good part ends. There are minimal electrical supply cabinets, so you will need a very very long lead. There is only one water tap point nearby, again a very very long hose! The toilet facilities are probably the worst we have come across in our last two years of touring in Europe. In the men's, for example, there are ten showers, however only three are usable with a shower head in place. The plastic shower curtains are in need of replacement urgently. Cold to luke warm water was normal. The toilet cubicles... well the door handles are mostly broken, privacy is somewhat restricted! As for cleanliness in this area, well mould is everywhere and suggest to wear thongs at all times. The whole park is largely taken up with static vans, static tents, static sheds and little time given to the touring part and the associated amenities. The laundry and wash sinks... again no hot water and in the evening, difficult to operate as the lights do not work. Finally there is no sign of any maintenance, the rubbish bins are located outside the park approximately another two hundred metre walk! We will not return to this place, how unfortunate that it cannot be managed properly as it is in are ally great position.
