A campsite on a bay right next to a sandy beach near a fishing village. Close to the Ebro delta with its unusual flora and fauna, including flamingos. Lovely cycle routes. Watersports. Close to the N340 so suitable as a stopover site. Campsite is expected to be completely renovated by 2019.

I had a great experience during my stance in this camping but I think that they should improve the soil in the camping, it\'s a bit difficult for a person with physical disabilities.
We stayed 3 nights in our motorhome. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Toilet facilities good with hot water for showers and washing up, though showers became rather dirty by the evening. Motorhome service point with water and grey water drainage easy to access. New restaurant and bar area, food good, but no menu del dia in the evenings, so quite expensive. Pool and sunloungers quiet in May. Mosquitos a problem as site is surrounded by rice fields. L\'ampolla a 20 minute walk along the promenade. Spar supermarket. We used our bikes and rode both to L\'ampolla and in the opposite direction on off-road tracks into the delta, with birds including flamingos to see.
Good campsite near Ebre delta with walks into the delta and the small resort town of Ampolla. Surprisingly good restaurant and good value.
Midges and mosquitoes were bearable but don\'t stay on a Saturday as the noise from a nearby disco lasted until at least 05.00. It ruined our stay!
We were a bit unsure about staying here after reading the last English review from 2016 but it's location suited what we wanted to do. However, we were so glad we did. The campsite is right across the road from the beach with a cycle path all the way along the seafront into the lovely town of Ampolla. There's a Spar supermarket in town. Alex and Lola in reception couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The toilets/shower facilities whilst basic we're very clean and we didn't hear one aeroplane spraying the mosquitoes. Incidentally, we were worried about being bothered by mosquitoes being so near the Delta and rice fields but it wasn't a problem. There is so much to do within easy reach of this campsite, either cycling the Via Verde, going up into the mountains in the car or you can get the train from Ampolla station - Tortosa is a lovely town, well worth a visit. There's lots of eateries within walking distance ( we didn't try the campsite restaurant). Our favourite was Cafe Flarca, turn right out of the campsite 100yds. Rafael was an excellent host and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The only let down was the wifi. Worked fine in reception but not on our pitch (326). Would definitely stay here again.
Was going to spend 2 nights here on our way up to France but changed our minds! Toilets and showers were filthy and the aeroplane that buzzed overhead from 6am in the mornings spraying the mosquitos was enough to send us running! Such a shame as its right on the sandy beach. Even. the town area was disappointing and it was a very long walk around the bay to find that out! We realise that it seemed popular with some families as there seemed to be a lot there for children but we will not be going back.
Very nice friendly site, reception staff could, not do enough for you, even locating a spare part for my motor home. marked pitches adequate but large grass area is best if you can get a place. nice walk to the fishing village one way and beach walks the other. we will return to this lovely site.
