Loved this last September, so came back again for a small stay. Arrived on the Friday to find a good pitch, although not the prime pitches as lots of longer stay groups looked to have beaten us . We had arrived at the festival weekend for the town, and to say the site filled up quickly would be an understatement. And they kept coming in for the rest of the day , and Saturday. It got rammed. The beach was busy, and the towns celebrations made for a “different” break for us. Mural style road decorations, a beach monster bonfire, brilliant fireworks, and a group of firework twirling locals dressed in traditional costumes led the party cavalcade to the beach bonfire, for the lighting. A superb night. Sunday saw lots go home again, and by Monday it got easier. Swimming pool not open, shop and reception very good, toilets good. Just wish that a better control was exerted on over packing pitches. It looked like loads of people were visiting others , but ended sleeping over, in small tents, or in their cars, to not pay full prices, or not pay at all possibly. Still love this site, but will research when festivals are on next time
Very good site, some pitches have sea views. Close to town with small port and marina. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Swimming pool overlooking beach with restaurant. Very enjoyable stay will return.
Great site 5th visit facilities cleaned twice or three times a day Disabled wet room modern and functional Swimming pool excellent choice of pitches 7.5 metre Motorhome with car trailer gave us use of two pitches with no extra charges
Stayed her for five days in our first trip to the area. Go through town to reach site as some sat navs direct you to two tunnels under the motorway and railway. The route is doable, but worrying if you come up against another vehicle in the tunnel. When we arrived, we were asked to park and choose our pitch. So many to choose from, we picked the top level, but should have looked more towards the sea area, as some pitches had great views.
Pool was closed, and restaurant was in restricted opening times, but overall a very good site. Beach nearby, town worth a walk to shops and bars. Sanitary facilities for each sex, but no shower doors. Would mark this as a “will return” , even though noise from railway and motorway was audible. Surprised there seemed to be no recycling.
the campsite is fairly good . We had a big pitch but limited shade. The beach looks nice from a distance but when you get close it is very dirty with a metre of dead smelly seaweed and ladies panty liners floating on the surface ? Not a pretty site.
We stayed one (Saturday) night in our Motorhome in June. Friendly, helpful reception. Lower site was full, we were able to choose our own pitch in the upper site, where there was plenty of room. Gravel pitches, of good size. Toilet facilities good with plenty of hot water. Swimming pool and beach in middle of site. Easy walk to town, which was very lively on Saturday evening. We were disturbed by loud music either on or near the site until 6 am. WiFi free but difficult to access and rather patchy. Small, well sticked shop on site, Spar nearby.
No space on lower level so we settled up top. Fine when you get there but if your legs are wearing out you might well struggle with the hill both ways. Reception, pool, shop, bar, restaurant all down the bottom by the nice sandy bay . Up a hill or longer way via a slope gets you into town within a 10 minute slow plod. It\'s worth it. Lovely place with a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. People live there. Best Spar I\'ve been in and new Mercadona a five minute drive from the site is of usual standard. Oh did I mention some major road noise and the Barcelona train line along the back of the top level? Neither really impacted except when the wind was in the West. Enjoyed the place and would return.
At first glance this seems like a small, fairly intimate site. New arrivals are directed towards the row of pitches immediately inside the entrance - and they are mostly of a good size although a large caravan with full awning and a car might struggle. At this level there is a wonderful swimming pool, direct access to the beach and fantastic sanitary facilities. However this is a much larger site - terraced upwards, mainly for tents, but at the highest level there are many more pitches, those towards the front of the site having views over the sea. There is some road and rail noise at the back of the site, particularly on the higher level. There is a small supermarket on site but a much larger one is within cycling distance. There is an easy walk into town with a fascinating harbour and many cafes and restaurants.
Excellent showers, only minus for me is having toilet paper outside the toilet cubicle.
A good site to drive to the Ebro Delta to see the wonderful bird life thus avoiding the mossies that enjoy human food in the evenings in particular!
We stayed on this for two weeks over Easter .The site is well maintained, the best pitches for Motorhomes and for people of our age (70) is on the lower level. Our shower block was first class and very warm water. The town is a short walk from the site. We met people from Belguim who stay on this site for 2 months each year. This site is in our best 10 sites in Spain.
