Friendly welcome at reception. Had a nice pitch close to showers & toilets. Free wifi at pool, office & restaurant. No trouble parking van at pitch. Our van is 6.5 x2.8 & got in with ease. Close to lovely beach & within walking or cycling distance of Cambrils plus a pleasant hours walk to Salou. Pool looked lovely but didn\'t use it. Stayed for a week & hopefully will be back next year.
My motorhome is 7.9 m long. I was not allowed ACSI pitch as Our Moho was too big. cost for suitable pitch 28 euros per night with ehu. campsite was good. But ACSI conditions not available as ACSI would state them. But otherwise good campsite, but this definitely is child friendly campsite and it\'s noisy.
We stayed 4 nights in our motorhome. Our son flew to Reus airport and we drove the 20 minutes to pick him up (very easy). He stayed on the same standard pitch in a small tent. Reception staff lovely. Very helpful and efficient. Security guard at the gate. Pitches are sand, bordered by hedges. All felt pleasantly open though. Toilet facilities good. Cleaned regularly, hot water for showers and washing up. Showers in nearest block a bit odd, no partition to hang your dry items behind. Easy walk into promenade, then 2.5km to harbour area. Worth trip to old town up the hill. Market on a Wednesday.
Visiting on recommendation. It was tidy and okay if a little soul-less. Cafe understaffed at times so couldn\'t make food as well as tend the bar. Everything clean, neat and tidy but the pitches were rather small. Parked our 6.36 van conversion at an angle to make it fit. Could have paid for bigger pitches opposite but saw no great advantage. We\'d use it for an overnight. We only stayed two night - that was enough.
Arrived here for our third visit, reception was helpful and courteous as always, we walked on to the site and selected our pitch. Stayed for 3 weeks, a fabulous time, weather was glorious, went cycling every day, swam in the pool most days. Met with several friends from previous stays, some of whom were here for the 20th year in succession. The pitches are quite small but accommodate our folding camper with awning and car ( bit of a tight squeeze ). Fortunately in the low season there are usually some empty pitches which the car can go on. Thoroughly recommend this site but just hope it does not get too popular for the selfish reason we want to keep on returning.
I am completing this customer comment because we attempted to stay at this site in Oct 2016
We arrived early AM and went to reception.
We spoke to a female member of staff and said we wanted to say at the site for a few nights.
she replied yes that would be fine.
She then asked me is that your camper. I replied yes. she then said you will have to go on one of our larger pitches and that will cost you extra euros a night.
I then asked are you sure my camper wont fit on a regular pitch/
She replied Sternly "NO" and was not friendly at all and made me feel very unwelcome and not wanted and not accommodating at all
We said we were NOT willing to pay any more than printed in the ACSI book.
We left the site very upset by her attitude and manner.
We have been travelling though Europe for 4 months and have never paid more than stated in the ACSI book and never will..
This was not a pleasant experience at all........
