Estancia perfecta, siempre volvemos a este camping, nos encanta.
One of the best sites we have stayed in! We come back every year. Because it has everything thing we want close to a great beach with good snorkelling, restaurants supermarkets and great wine store all within easy walking distance. Hi
arrived to a lovely welcome. spoke great English at reception. pitches sandy and a tad small. other guests seem to use all Thier alotted space and then park Thier car on the road way making it hard for you to get onto and out of your pitch. tolets and showers spotless. we stayed two nights. and this site is on our list to return to. beach bay is to die for. only disappointing thing is the heated!!! pool. it\'s colder then I would like.
Great site helpful staff nothing too much trouble 7.5 metre Motorhome and car trailer arrived during busy weekend and had a choice of pitches available main swimming pool not open which was somewhat of a disappointment but smaller pool open and beach just down the road
Very friendly welcome from the reception staff. They all speak perfect English as well as other languages. The site is divided into two separate parts each with a swimming pool. Used the top swimming pool which has a stunning view of Roses Bay. We could pick our own pitch which was level & spacious. The toilet block was continuously being cleaned so was spotless. Roomy showers not push button. Toilets had seats, paper & soap for washing hands. Supermarket on site but another larger supermarket on way to beach which was very close. Lovely beach with a few restaurants surrounding the bay. Little train into L\'Scala only runs at the weekend from the middle of September. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our time there.
This is a very well maintained site, staff can always be seen working on the grounds or cleaning the sanitary blocks. Showers give continuous hot water rather than the “push button” ones. Reception staff are multi lingual, helpful and friendly. We have stayed here twice and prefer to camp on the higher plots due to their proximity to the pool and tennis court. These are good sized plots and accessible for larger units.
The nearby beach at Cala Montgó is a treat with its clear blue sea and there are a handful of bars and restaurants along the front. The campsite has its own small shop, with a larger independent shop a few yards away.
The town of L’Escala is a pleasant walk away, with the old town just a little further, both are well worth a visit.
This is an ideal location for motorhomers, like us, that only have cycles to get about.
This is one of our favourite sites and I can thoroughly recommend it.
Friendly and helpful staff on arrival allowed to choose own pitch, not many available as site was very nearly full. Found pitches to be small, would not have been able to put up our awning if staying longer than the two nights booked. Shower block although clean was infested with ants and had poor shower heads, plenty of hot water though. Pool overlooking Roses bay as seen in photo on ACSI website. This half of the site was overrun with children running around, riding bikes and scooters not under control of their parents.
We didnt find the campsite easy to find as instructions in the book. Use address not postcode as it keeps wanting to take you in through the town centre not easy with a twin axel caravan. The staff on reception spoke very good English and were very helpful. They gave us a map of the site and let us choose our pitch. If you have a twin axle take the stone beach side as wider avenues. All on terraces sand pitches really nice. The main pool was not open which was a shame for the first week of June, the other pool was on the small side but who needs a pool with the beautiful beach just about 500 meters away. The showers I have to say were the best I have ever been in any where while camping - No stupid push button a proper lever. Well done and they were very clean. No entertainment. We have no children.
look like good spots facilities but not used and didn\'t eat on site. Good security men on duty around the site at night.
There is a lovely 40 min walk to L\'Escalla along the path on the stone beach side lovely. If you don\'t like heights dont take the foot path on the left of the beach very uneven and on the edge! We really enjoyed the site and will be back.
this campsite hosted policemen who attacked Catalan voters during 1st October independence referendum
This site is split into two halves. Best to stop on the road between when arriving. Very helpful staff. For us the higher part away from the facilities was best as we have a cat and this area was quieter and more spacious. Easy access for large units. Regular bus/train into L'Escala. Good facilities on site. Ideal site for families and seniors. Will return.
