Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of good facilities and very clean. Pitches small and site closing down. Lovely area. Bar and restaurant closed except for first night. Food poor.

Campsite chosen only for location. The price was very expensive for what you get. There is not a lot of shade and most of the pitches are occupied by permanent caravans, a lot look like they have just been abandoned and full of mould. Toilet facilities are very basic, make sure you take your own toilet paper. There were a lot of flies. This may be due to heat or the surrounding farms.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Just visited and back home today. I like sites in natural places and I am definitely not a glamper, so bare that in mind when you read this...
Really friendly staff that stood out in my mind. The site is set in an area with a lot of walking and places to visit, medieval towns etc. The site itself is nice, it's one of those with old caravans dotted around but I don't mind. The restaurant is extremely good value for money and decent food not too posh, again which I like...
I'd go back again for sure.

This is a very quiet camp site out of season away from the coast and off the beaten track. Although it can get lively with local families at weekends. The toilet facilities in the main part of the site need upgrading but are clean and adequate. There are more modern facilities near the site entrance. The pitches are rather small and are not well separated. Having said that we love this site and this was our third visit. The bar/restaurant is the hub with good cheap food and drink and free WiFi. There are good walks in the area but the nearby village lacks facilities. But Banyoles is a gem with level walking around the lake and excellent shopping, food and drink. A beautiful Catalan town. There are also other historic towns worth visiting.
