Stayed as a stopover on route to the South, close to road network and easy to find, site needed a good tidying up but perhaps that comes later in the season. Toilet facilities were only average, I had a slight issue with the electric , supply seemed less than 6 amps and unreliable.
Pool was shut
Didn’t use any other facilities
Ok for an overnight.
Ideal stop over site. Easy to find. Pitches are ok size. Quite quiet although slight road noise. We visited in the low season so some facilities were closed but plenty for us. Would use again
nice little site for a short stop-over. Toilet and shower facilities clean if a bit tired. No food other than coffee & toast for breakfast.
Tiny pitches several badly rutted due to wet weather, toilets and showers very small and require refurbishing, no toilet paper. Bus stop outside camp entrance, nearest supermarket is Salamanca. Local village (Vilamayor) had a fair when we were there and the rave noise went on into the early hours of the morning. Ideal as a stop over only as close to motorway.
Ok for a stopover. No toilet paper. Showers were nice and hot and there was some heating. No internet. A staff member got us booked in but then disappeared. Had to open the main gate ourselves in the morning.
Well situated for a stop over en route north or south. Easy to find, even in the dark. Staff friendly and helpful and speak English. Campsite well laid out, but a bit tight in places, and we managed to get stuck in the mud due to heavy rain - so be careful where you park
Great campsite, easy to find & it's quite small so not overcrowded. Yes there is noise from the nearby motorway but it's not intrusive.
Nice owner who speaks good English.
The loo block is a bit ancient but it's clean & the showers are hot even though in the ladies the taps are not underneath the shower meaning that it's a little difficult to regulate the temperature.
There's all the usual waste & chemical loo facilities.
The small swimming pool is bliss after a day's sightseeing in Salamanca!
The bus to Salamanca stops outside...make sure that you stand on the campsite side as it will be coming from your left.
Will definitely use this site again.
This is a convenient site when travelling north / south in western Spain. The bus stops right outside the site to take you to the lovely city of Salamanca. Mature trees give good shade to the good sized pitches. Nice pool.
A very good stop over site but not an easy site to find even with instructions from the book and gps. There is a bus stops outside the campsite gate to go into Salamanca.
If one can put up with the noise of the motorway then its ok. It is convenient for visiting Salamanca as bus stop outside campsite.
