Large site although only half was open in February. Maintenance taking place. Reception in shared hotel. Camping reception & shop open in March. Service facilities all good and clean. Hot water on tap, though with low season was a long time to come through. 2pin 6amp hook up. Bus stop on site for access to Salamanca. TT at stop. Shops are L out of site 10min walk or equivalent bike ride left out of site. Lubo is a top shop.

What a great camp site for an early January stop over. Friendly and pleasant staff on reception couldn\'t have been more helpful. Facilities were good, had a really hot shower on freezing cold -4c morning. The bus stop is just off site and couldn\'t be easier to get into Salamanca. Even on a Sunday buses were regular right up to 830pm. Excellent.

Stayed for two nights with a visit into Salamanca by the local bus. Food is provided in the Hotel in front of the campsite and is really good quality with a discounted but limited menu specifically for campers. You could book the proper restaurant if you wanted to splash out.
Pitches are good size. Worth the visit to see Salamanca cathedral, the Roman bridge and the old town with lots of restaurants and cafes.

Great site with super swimming pool. Good size pitches with shade. Restaurant and bar on site and bus into Salamanca from site. All facilities good

This site is very handy for Salamanca, there is a bus stop in the site reception area, which makes it easy to find, and the staff gave us a map showing where the bus stopped in Salamanca. We also found a free aire near the shops.

Great Staff, convenient, restaurant excellent. We come here 6 times a year. It is a stop over site. You can get a bus or taxi to the centre of Salamanca and they don't lock you out. You are given a card to get in or out. What more do you want. It is brilliant.

We've stayed here several times and the staff are very welcoming. Pitches are tired and worn, handy as a stop over site. It is also well located for visiting Pena de Francia, a mountain with fantastic views some 60 miles away, also convenient for visiting La Alberca, a lovely traditional village where you can eat a reasonable price. You are given a card to open the barrier on arrival so you can come back late from days out. You can come and go as you please. We would recommend this site.

Wouldn't agree with Cat 1 listing. The site is old, tired & in need of lots of TLC! Hotel food being one of the best points, very reasonable price as given a special deal on arrival. Bus direct from site into Salamanca which is definitely worth a day visit. Wouldn't stay again.

A good campsite near the historic city of Salamanca. There is a bus stop right outside the campsite, which is very cheap, just remember the bus number for coming back (we didn't and we missed the bus, not a problem though as we went to a bar for an hour!) Toilets and showers were clean and good. staff were ok, but we had to go to the hotel to check in and out.

It looks a good choice campsite from the first impression. No one at the campsite entrance, you have to book in at the hotel. All the pitches are slopping. The toilets and showers are very old and in need of a good update. Rusty shower heads, nowhere to sit, towel and clothes exposed to the shower. The worst thing for us was, a group of very young children arrived around 4pm, we went into city and returned about 10.30 the children were still running around and making a lot of noise, a couple of campers actually left, or moved further away.
