A great stop off point on the way to Portugal. The staff speak excellent English and were extremely helpful. As we travel with a dog, this was an excellent site with lovely walks along the river and we were able to cycle along the path with the dog all the way to Salamanca using the excellent cycle paths once in the city. Salamanca is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.

Travelling party: Couple

2 days into Spain, booked into this campsite intending to stop for 1 or 2 nights en route to Portugal, during the night my husband became very ill, I had to wake someone to call a taxi and open the gate and barriers to get my husband to hospital, this lovely family run site was wonderful, always checking how thing were and offering any assistance, even driving me to the pharmacy and helping with the language problems. As an older female on my own while my husband was in hospital, I really appreciated the concern and kindness I was given, thank you Saer

Very warm welcome by couple who spoke very good English and gave detailed information about the site and also surrounding area. Extremely good facilities which have been modernised this year. Very hot showers and up to date toilet facilities. Nice restaurant not very expensive and bar on site. Free wifi on site. Good walking/ cycling into Salamenca a definite return for a longer stay.

Toilet facilities will be very good once completed, only the ladies in use for all at the moment. Good hot showers. Site staff very welcoming.
Site good, was fairly busy with it being Easter. Excellent cycle track, except for small length of it, along river to the city, which is amazing. Worth a visit anytime but with the amazing Easter processions it was special.

The ladies toilets have been renovated and during our stay the gents were closed due to renovations. If the gents are done like the ladies then there are now toilet seats! However still no hooks in the showers.

Pleasant and helpful reception from the man who runs the site. Spacious pitches with a choice of sun, partial or total shade. Next to river which provides a pleasant walk or cycle ride. Bus stop is 10mins walk for bus into the city. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it gets very full at weekends, mainly locals.
As reported by others the toilet block is disappointing. Toilets are very low and have no seats. No hooks in showers. Having said that the toilets were always clean.
Very convenient for visiting this lovely city.

Nice friendly owners & well located for visiting Salamanca either by foot or cycle. The WC block is certainly clean but a definite time warp back to the 70's. No toilet seats, no shelving or hooks in the showers so you could end up with everything on the wet floor!

The toilet/shower facilities are very poor indeed. No hot water, no shelf or partition in shower so care has to be taken not to soak everything. Needs updating urgently!!

Reaction from the campsite 23 June 2015

Good morning:
Indeed there was a problem with the hot water, which was solved as soon as the
technical / PROFESSIONALS, wine.
We depend on the technical service and therefore its availability to solve the problem.
We apologize for not being able to solve the problem faster.
As for the toilets and showers, try to improve as soon as possible.
Thank you for your comments that we will consider.
Yours Truly
