Great little site with a very friendly and relaxed feel, ideal for visiting the beautiful city of Salamanca. Excellent and lively bar/restaurant, very good sanitary facilities and a very pleasant small outdoor pool. Good pitches, flat, hedges around, shaded in the main, though some units may struggle with their medium sizing. You can cycle ‘off-road’ to Salamanca which is about 4 miles along the river.
A pleasant site, always busy, good toilet facilities. Didn\'t try restaurant but was very busy with locals at the weekend, shop very basic. Good size hedged pitch but too shaded as the weather was not that warm. The wifi, free, was useless. Never saw the swimming pool.
great campsite, close to Salamanca. plenty of hot water in showers and sink taps, new toilet block (with toilet seats, paper and soap!). good pitch sizes. bar and restaurant gets busy at night and appears to be used by locals also.
This camp site is ok for overnight/stopover but nothing else. The staff we\'re really lovely and helpful the pitches are tight and it was busy. Showers are fab. Very clean. We cycled to Salamanca a good 30 minutes each way but it was worth it. The city is beautiful. You can get a bus but it seemed a bit complicated and the bus stop was under a bridge on the opposite side of the campsite and it was near a main road. The supermarket is quite a long way. Not great for parking a motorhome.
As an overall package, this is the best site we stayed during our current visit to Spain. We were given such a friendly reception, it felt like staying with family. The bar and restaurant are excelkent wuth great service - always full of local people on weekends, which is a good sign. Some of the pitches were a bit tight manouevring for large outfits because of trees, but there are also pitches for large units on open grass, with electrical hook-up. Washing and bathing facilities excellent. We would definitely stay there again.
Nice site. Smallish pitches. New loos and shower block was very nice (need your own loo paper). Cycling paths right outside site - easy access to Salamanca. Route to site from main road a tad confusing.
We received a very warm welcome at the campsite and were given full details of facilities and restaurant. We were able to pick our own pitch which was large and shaded. The walk into Salamanca is alongside the river and took about an hour. We ate in the campsite restaurant one evening which seemed popular with locals and campers. Good choice of dishes served by helpful staff.
Nice reception, good pitches but tight access to the pitches for bigger cars. Some of the best Toilet and shower facilities ever seen.
Salamanca is definitely a great place to visit.
Nice site, second time visited, would recommend. As well as being ideally situated for the north south route Salamanca is a beautiful city and well worth a visit, there is a path at the side of the camp which winded its way along the river all the way into the city, it is a 90 minutes walk, or 30 mins on a cycle, well worth the effort, a cab will cost around ten euro.
We booked this campsite in August 2017 and the staff were very friendly and helpful. When we pitched and checked the electric, however, it showed an earthing problem on every bollard we tried so unfortunately we had to move on despite the owner telling me that it was alright I do not know enough about it to override what my mains tester told me.
