lovely little laid back gem of a campsite as others have said. Staff genuinely warm and friendly. Services are excellent. The restaurant attached to the site serves excellent high quality food with an informal atmosphere . it\'s superbly located for easy bus and bike rides to nearby beautiful and historic Salamanca . All this at an inexpensive ACSI rate with electricity on lovely mixed shaded pitches with plenty of room. You choose your own pitch stay as long as you like without having to commit in advance. This is the gold standard against which all campsites should be judged. What\'s not to love!

Lovely little campsite. Staff extremely helpful, especially reception. Lovely waiting staff in the bar also, couldn\'t be more friendly. Water taps close by, electric for every pitch and large waste area for motorhomes.

This was a lovely way to finish our holiday on way home to UK. The site is family run and they are all lovely. You can easily cycle into Salamanca which is certainly worth it. The bar and restaurant are great. The staff take such care when making drinks and it is a cut above the rest. It was the last day of the season for the restaurant when we were there and the atmosphere was lovely. Will return again and again.

Stayed on site travelling south in August and again in October. WC and shower facilities were very good, piches were reasonable size and well priced. Used swimming pool and restaurant in August: both good. Easy to catch bus into Salamanca bus stop some 500mtrs or so away. Would use again if passing through.

the location to a cycle path and a bus into the centre of Salamanca is very good. The site is busy and does get some road and train noise. The main issue is the sanitary block having mud and grass around it which means that this is dragged into the block. Cleaning is a little superficial. But location is the plus. Wi-fi OK.

Visiting in September and preferring the sun there were only shaded pitches or a field (with only one source for electricity which meant many cables across the field area) that we chose in the end but pestered by flies. Many visiting had fly swats so obviously a regular problem.

Nice site with reasonably large pitches compared to some. Great location for visiting Salamanca which is a must. We rode bikes along dedicated cycle paths which follows the river for a good part. The on site restaurant is excellent but you do need to book as it is also used by the locals. We ate both nights of our stay and very pleased on both occasions. Would recommend the paella but you need to pre book this. We would definitely stay here again.

A pleasant welcome and \' choose your own pitch\' made for a good start here. It is well placed for visiting Salamanca. We used the bus service which runs half hourly well into the evening. It\'s a pleasant 15 minute walk, mainly by the river to get the bus which drops you right in the centre. Pitches are of a decent size and many have plenty of shade. The washrooms are modern and clean and the motorhome dump is easy to access. We didn\'t eat in the restaurant as we spent most of our time exploring the city which is excellent. We\'d recommend a visit to the University which was fascinating.

We stayed overnight on journey south. We planned to stay longer but weather front meant that temperature dropped by 10 degrees (snow around us) and did not lend to an amble around Salamanca. We liked the campsite and the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent. We will return for a visit to this city another time.
