Would definitely visit again. Chose pitch as allergic to Plane tree ‘Plantanes.’ Good size. Cleanest toilets/showers ever! Staffed all day with a radio and usually lady singing along. We had a pitch higher up so views were just stunning. Food of good quality and quantity.

Stayed for 3 nights in September before our return to UK via Santander. Facilities and restaurant very good. Pitches on tiered site good. Within walking distance of an excellent beach (good for surfing). Two interesting towns nearby and well worth visiting (Comillas and San Vicente de la Barquera)

Our second visit to this site. It was busier than we remembered. The location is great, it’s a short walk to a lovely beach and the Picos are a short drive away. There are lots of lovely towns to visit in the are too and it’s only 30 mins from the ferry port of Santander. We ate in the restaurant. The food was lovely, good quality ingredients cooked well, although the menu choices are basic. The pitches we found rather small. We have a large twin axle and we didn’t have space to put up our awning and keep the car on the pitch. We made do with just a ground sheet because the weather was lovely. The pitch was a sandy dirt and when it rained it got quite muddy so a ground sheet outside the caravan is necessary. The WiFi is free but didn’t work very well except near reception.

Nice site with very helpful and friendly staff, pitches of reasonable size, however some can be noisy; ours backed onto the overflow carpark so had car doors banging at all times of the night plus the the recycling bins get emptied twice a week around midnight!! Our friends pitch on the lower level backed onto the road!
Restaurant was good value and nice snack type food.
Indoor swimming pool is small but warm, outside is a lot larger but freezing cold!
Decent electric supply, and when we came to pay we found the site offers 7 for 6 nights but isn’t stated in the book!

The lady on reception speaks really good English and is super helpful, a real asset to the campsite. If only all campsites had some like that.

Lovely campsite about a 15 minutes walk away from a lovey sandy beach. Good facilities and the food in their restaurant was fantastic and good value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend.

when I arrived and the barrier didn’t lift, I headed to the reception to check in and the first interaction was “you can’t park there”. by this stage the barrier had been opened so I could then move into the car park. would have been better to have said “welcome to our campsite. I have lifted the barrier so could you please now come through”. after this the staff were fine

doesn’t seem to be anywhere to dispose of grey water other than chemical toilet point - this needs sorting out
