One of the best campsites I’ve stayed on!!
Very friendly and helpful English speaking reception and management staff.
A small family run site located in parkland and woods, with adequately sized and well situated pitches. surrounded by Karst mountain peaks. wonderful views. Lots of hiking and cycling routes and only 2km from the town which has a selection of bars, restaurants and a great small Lupa supermarket.

We read the glowing reviews. Yes, it's a lovely area and the sanitary facilities are good. But the pitches are small and ours was on a steep slope. It took 3 blocks. But the big issue that nobody else mentioned is access. One 10% gradient with sharp bend to get to reception then another with a sharp bend to get into the site. A very big challenge with a caravan. Even more difficult with a large motorhome. Beware ! And don't expect to empty tanks. The dump station is tiny and impossible to use.

Probably the best campsite we have ever stayed on. Bathrooms absolutely spotless, lovely setting in ancient mixed woodland with plenty of shade. decent sized pitches, fantastic ski lodge style lounge/restaurant bar, excellent food and service in bar/restaurant and free laundry facilities. Fantastic value. What's not to like?

Beautiful campsite in the most beautiful location. Managed by the same man as another Cantabrian campsite - ? El Heugo, who is extremely helpful ( as were the rest of the staff) and who speaks perfect English. Pitches are on grass - and accessed up a ( tarmacadam) slope. Remember to fill up fir motorhomes at the hose point by reception first as taps are just push button on the site itself. Sanitary block clean and modern. Playground for children. Good restaurant with stunning views. Easy walk into Ramales. Directions a little confusing - you need to turn left after the bridge , through the car park /past the bar and into the park area. Campsite is further along the road on the right. Well worth the visit.

A lovely peaceful site. Great toilets & showers, which were kept spotless by staff. We went over Easter so the site was pretty full. Be aware that the pitches are quite small. The owner / manager Francis was very helpful and friendly. We didn\'t eat there, but the site has a restaurant which looked nice.

Smashing quiet campsite, really friendly and helpful staff. Large pitches, with lots of shade.although some were not particularly level.
Able to walk along the pretty river to the small town of Rimales de la Victoria, market day Friday, with a good choice of bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
Would thoroughly recommend this site especially if you want peace and quiet
