Very nice camp site with very good facilities all of which are spotless, horse and quad riding available just outside the site, all reasonable priced, the bar at the end of the site road is overpriced, avoid, twenty meters further down road in the biker bar, nicer and cheaper. The beach and promenade are beautiful and make for a good walk. Recommend this site and would visit again.
Just spent 3 days at this site, it is one of the best we have stayed at in Spain. The toilets and showers are extremely clean and well designed with plenty of hot water at all times of day. The local area has lots of bars and restaurants. Laredo is within a 30 minute walk along the promenade. The area is also very flat and good for cycling. Will definitely stay again when in area.
Stayed here for 3 nights before catching the ferry home . very friendly staff. good size pitches for Spain was not to busy and told to go and pick any pitch we liked .toilets and showers are spotless and plenty of hot water. we had our bikes so biked into town along the prom ,its flat and easy .Old town has plenty of nice bars and places to eat also the new part of town near the beach. weather was not so good when we was there but still had a good time. campsite bar is ok and reasonable, however avoid cafeteria Rigina's which is on the cross roads up from the campsite road. expensive charge for two small beers go 50 yard up the road to Harley bar.
This is the best Acsi recommended campsite we have used, in the 3 years of being a member. The showers and toilets are kept very clean, they are modern. The parcelas are very wide, we had plenty of room with a 8m motorhome. It is very easy to get to, there are no awkward obstacles to navigate. I would like to give the campsite 100%, however, these few things stopped me. Water for drinking, we only saw one near the water discharge area. Even though there is looking paper available, it is not in the cubicle. There was only 1 washing machine, and there are raised curves onto parcelas. The town is quite a distance away, and so are the supermarkets, so you do need some form of transport. The beach is a huge horse shoe, and separated by a sand dune. If travelling along this coast line, use this campsite.
Spotless modern facilities, friendly welcome, English spoken. Shady pitches, decent size. Pool not available at start of June, not an issue for us. Situated next to nature reserve with horse riding available. Peaceful at night (enforced silence midnight to 8), but cocks crowing early morning. Bus into town infrequent (hourly?) and to bus station for Bilbao/Santander etc. You need to book ahead for these trips at the bus station, which are good value. Laredo pleasant town with super sandy beaches, old town, fishing harbour and cliff walks. There is a ferry, used by pilgrims, across the bay to Santana, where there is a busy fishing harbour. We would certainly use it again.
We stayed here just for one night as a stop over on the way to Picos de Europa. Toilets were very clean, however the surroundings were not to our taste.
Ideal stop over. Some distance from the town to walk up ok on bikes. Friendly welcome and good wifi nr reception.Pool and cafe not open when we stayed
Stopped at site late in the season so touring section was all but empty. Very nice site and easy to find. Within easy reach of two beaches. One mega big with loads of people and the other on a lagoon. Big tourist town with Laredo within walking distance, about an hour. Great for cycles. Only negative is that the pitches are not very big and whilst there are loads of trees there are no hedges separating them. Will use again
Very friendly staff. Good cafe & bar. Good shop on site. Lovely pool. Town has plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. Easy walk to nearest beach but town beach, with lifeguard, is a bit further. Good location and easy to find.
