Old Man & his GSD camped here. Nice spot. Well placed to reach everywhere in this beautiful area. Pitches are a bit cramped with little privacy. The staff & toilet block deserve highest marks. Dog Shower hit the mark too. :-)

Loved this campsite, we were there for the last few days before it closed for the year. Facilities were really good and lovely and clean. Walked to Deba one day and to Zumaia the next but caught the bus back as it was getting late. Would definately stay again.

Stunning view on the Bay of Biscay and it’s coastline from many camping pitches. New (second) toilet building recently added (but without option to obtain fresh water in portable water tank for the caravan — you have to walk a fair amount further to get this).
Very friendly staff who taught us only one word in the Basque language: “Eskerrikasko’ = Thank you. You will get a smile on every Basque’s face if you thank them in their mother tongue.
Good place to explore Basque Country, (beautiful) cities of San Sebastian and Bilbao and the coast line (there are some challenging walking routes from the camping site). The country side is very green which also means there is sufficient rain (as we experienced).
Last warning ... when traveling with a caravan don’t get lost while finding the correct route to the camping site (as we did). In the end we had to decouple the caravan before we could turn around. From the A8 follow the sign posts to Itziar. After the first round about after leaving the Autopista the camping site is clearly marked.

Don't worry about towing to this camp site. It is narrow and windy in places, but logic says those coming the other way should be doing so in the morning, and arrivals would be afternoon. Nice site. Staff really good. A site for the adventurous as there isn't anywhere easy to walk to. Some pitches have tremendous sea / coast views, but it is a long way down to the coast. A chill out site for a couple of days.

Tight pitches but some with good views. We had room for our caravan 8m and car and was glad we were in good shade as no room for awning. Pitches varied in size. Couldn't fault staff helpfulness, and a well stocked little shop.
Some footpaths to walk from the site, steepish as you had a wander down and had the pain of the wander up. No easy access to the beaches down there.

Deba town had good beach and shops, a short drive away. Getaria worth a visit for fish restaurants.

Would use the site again if we were passing this way.

Noisy at weekends as pitches close together.

This is a friendly, family run site. The two sons spoke excellent englishand knew all the walks, bus timetables, best beaches etc. Most pitches look directly over the cliffs to the sea, spectacular! If you like walking there are great coastal paths with views over the sea ,to Deba and Zumai. Very hilly,i must say but worth the effort! Regular busses run to San sebastion, but there is a 2km walk from the campsite to the bus stop on the main road. A bit too hilly for occassional cyclists like ourselves i'm afraid.Facilities are excellent, modern toilet block with hot water and lovely swimming pool. Pitches are on the small size but no problem for our T2 campervan and Awning. We stayed 4 nightsand will come again if we're in the area

The best campsite we have been to so far in three weeks travelling. The campsite is in a lovely part of North Spain surrounded by some beautiful places including beaches, an animated forest, a church on an island and fishing villages. We were meant to stay here 3 nights and ended up staying for 5. The staff are excellent and really helpful, with the two sons speaking really good English. The bathroom facilities are modern and very clean. The pitches are good too and the are plenty of trees. Well worth a visit!

Breathtaking view of the Biscaya. The most friendly staff, we met during our six week holiday. If we get the chance, we will definitely come back.

We loved this campsite and the area. The Basque area is quite different from the rest of Spain and very charming. We spent two nights here in the Campervan, enjoying the sunshine and the restful atmosphere. It is a terraced site with lovely spacious pitches. Staff were very helpful and spoke great English. There is a small shop on site. Facilities were good. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace over looking the bay. There are also walks of varying lengths signposted from the site, down towards the shore line. We would come back here again.
