Stayed for 3 nights early Oct 2018 at the weekend. The staff were absolutely brilliant they arranged for my dog to see a local vet prior to sailing from Bilbao and printed a route map they did a complete translation of the restaurant menu and printed it, the meal was excellent. Showers are hot and toilets clean.
The staff are the best I’ve met after 40 years CaravanI

We spent two days here on our way to the north coast. The site was effectively in 2 halves, an area of cabins and statics and a grass area for tourers. This area was slightly sloping and slippy since the weather was wet. At the weekend the site was very busy with local visitors. It would appear that locals from nearby use the bar & restaurant and there were lots for cars on site even parked among the tourers. We choose our moment to use the heated indoor swimming pool carefully, when the children were being recharged with food! The surrounding area is beautiful with some serious walks and mountain bike tracks but limited gentle cycling opportunities. We enjoyed our stay but would not recommend the site at weekends.

I wrote a review that I would like to add to having spoken to staff about how I felt, purely conversationally not in the form of a complaint; the response was so genuinely apologetic that I really do feel this was a one off experience that they sincerely wish is not repeated for any other guest. Unknown to us this was a fiesta week in Vitoria and a large extended family group were obviously using their time off work to socialise in a manner that wasn\'t the norm for this site. we left feeling that the matter would be dealt with.

We really looked forward to visiting this site from the description and reviews but from the moment of arrival we were so disappointed. We actually got out to check that we had arrived at a campsite and not a children\'s play area. We must have chosen the wrong time, the guests were exceedingly noisy only going in at 1.30 am. We went to the bar reception area to access wifi but left battered by balls, loud music and excess noise. We considered using the pool but as a weak swimmer I needed to know the depth, all I could be told not deep 1.8m at deep end and about up to here (her neck) at shallow end at 1.52 m I didn\'t risk it. We looked for information on walks to get out of the noise, none available so asked, we were given verbal instructions for a short road walk, pleasant but not what I expected from walks from site between 2 national parks. Asci says special pitches for motorhomes and motorhome facilities no! we were all huddled on a field tents caravans and cars, we had to put awning and chairs out to give us a little space that wasn\'t a football pitch or walkway. On going for a shower this morning I avoided 2 cubicles that appeared to have vomit left in them presumably from last night\'s excesses so had to use a cubicle at the end where the light wasn\'t working. We asked about a tap to use a hose with and grey water disposal. The taps were all roadside of the push button type which none of our hose adapters fitted, the grey waste was the road drain in the carpark if no one was parked one it! This was not a site for us and not what the description suggests. We almost packed up straight away but managed to cope with one night.

Very friendly and great bar, wee shop and library. Was very busy in restaurant with Spanish weekend regulars only us Mon Tues but staff kept bar and restaurant open! Did a lovely cycle round local roads and tracks and drove up to Valderejo natural park another day for a wee mountain walk.

This is an excellent site where we stayed for 3 nights. From the arrival to departure the staff could not have been more helpful. The pitch was spacious and the showers, my wife tells me, were the best we have experienced. Visit the Salina de Ananas, 5 miles away, an easy cycle ride. We will visit the site again.

Very good campsite with helpful and friendly staff. Mostly seasonal or permanent pitches but nice grassed area with shade for touring outfits. Great restaurant with good value food and wines. Site is between 3 national parks and has nice walks on the doorstep. Pool was very welcome during a heatwave and has a lifeguard. WiFi at bar or reception. Site shop was quite adequate and sold lovely bread. Good shortcut on A2625 to Bilbao which was manageable for a large outfit. Toilet/Shower facilities a little tired but clean and adequate. Vet in Miranda de Ebro just 25km from the site.

Wow what a site. We've recently spent three night here. The staff are the best we've ever encountered. The owners are the friendliest we've seen anywhere, they really go out of their way to help. The area is amazing especially if you are into walking, cycling or climbing. If you have a big unit (ours is 8 mtrs) it can be a bit tight but the owners will fit you in somehow. We ended up with a great pitch. We were there over a weekend which meant a lot of the permanent pitches were occupied which actually led to a great atmosphere throughout the site. There was a live band on the Saturday night which were really good. The restaurant and bar are great value.
Overall I would give this site 9.5 out of 10. We will return and stay a lot longer. It's advisable to book a pitch.

Our first site in Spain and it was excellent.
Very friendly & helpful staff.
Restaurant food was first class and included wine, very good value as well.
A short drive to the great national park where the walks are great and scenery spectacular.
We were both delighted. Thank you.

Lovely rural position near a monastery, in the middle of 3 National parks. Good for visiting Vitoria an enchanting city. Large pitches, some may be tight for larger vans. Excellent restaurant, Friendly staff. Toilet block dated but ok.
